Smack in the centre of harrogate, this premier inn is ideal to stay as next door to all the restaurants, bars and shops you could wish for. The rooms are clean, spacious and the self check in is fabulous too. Beds are ridiculously comfortable. Staff are fabulous, very helpful and the bar area is pleasant and relaxed. Definitely worth a visit

Unfortunately I had an extremely bad experience in the cleanliness of the Hotel especially my 1st room which was utter filth with tea stained and who knows what up the walls and what looked like bogeys on the wall, carpets were filthy with the only chair in the room so disgusting you couldn’t sit on it, the receptionist did move me to a different room which was slightly better apart from when I woke up in the morning to have a shower I noticed the black mould all over bathroom ceiling and shower curtain which is a health hazard.

Don't like where this hotel is situated and parking is ridiculous. Thank God I managed to find free parking 10 minutes walk away.

Disappointing stay, saved only by the excellent breakfast Staff we stayed for two nights and had a very mixed experience. The first room we were given had a terrible smell, which was made worse because the window wouldn't open. Thankfully, we were moved to a different room; while it didn't smell, the decor felt incredibly tired and dusty. The entire hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment—the carpets throughout the building are torn and dirty in places. On a positive note, the breakfast was very nice with a great selection to choose from. A special mention goes to the hardworking, friendly, and extremely helpful blonde lady running the restaurant. She seemed to be working completely on her own but did a fantastic job. This hotel has potential, but it could be so much better if the maintenance and cleanliness issues were properly addressed.
