One night . Don't stop here if temperature above 25. Last night was the hottest ever been in my life . The fan provided does nothing !!! Windows are locked so only open a little. Felt sick in night due to oppressive heat. Need more fans which have not got and to unlock openings in window.

£120 for a basic room, no aircon, no breakfast included, WiFi ok if your happy watching YouTube videos in 360p or happy to pay more for ‘ultimate’ WiFi. Got to be better value around, will be looking to stay elsewhere next time I visit the area. Oh and no plug sockets beside the bed! Cmon
I know Premier Inn can be hit or miss but I particularly enjoyed my stay here, I agree it can get hot at night as there’s no ac but a fan is provided, we opened our window which, yes, is noisy being next to a busy road but did help to drown out my husband’s snoring somewhat. Beds are super comfy and equally facing a decent size television (there was an extra charge to have a twin room which I think is a bit unfair).
What I particularly liked were the staff, check in was smooth with a young lady who seemed very relaxed, super friendly and funny, she made me laugh - kudos to her. The restaurant staff were of the same ilk, relaxed and not stressed, something I love to see. Breakfast was made to order and cooked perfectly, even the poached eggs. I did learn a new custom (which is really an old custom) as our server came to take my almost full breakfast away as she thought I’d finished, she was super efficient bless her but I had no idea placing your cutlery in such a way meant you’re done eating - you learn something new every day. Also loved the dining relaxed feel with the music/radio playing, I always have music on in my kitchen at home and I loved the music choice.
Overall a pleasant stay.
Overall, an OK stay. The staff were friendly, and the room was up to the usual Premier Inn standards—clean and comfortable.
My only issue was the heat in the room. There is no AC, and while a desk fan was provided, it wasn't pushing any air through (upon inspecting it the next morning, it looks like the blades may have been fitted backwards). Opening the window wasn't ideal either due to heavy traffic noise from the nearby main road. Since it was late and the children were already asleep, I wasn't able to ask for a replacement fan at the time. Aside from the room temperature, everything else was fine.
We were very delighted when the manager agreed to accept our family to join us for breakfast. We came from Kent to catch up with family and did not know not all P Inns allow family/friends to join guests. We use Premier Inns a lot and it was the first time we were faced with this. Fortunately it was quiet and some flexibility in the rule was allowed. So thank you to the Manager for kindly helping us have a great breakfast and catching up to celebrate a very special birthday.
