  Facilities are fine - it's a Premier Inn. Staff are lovely. However all the family rooms face the sun, and with no air conditioning or fully opening windows they are all unbearably hot. Fans are provided but they just push boiling hot air around the room. Don't even think about booking here with a child because they won't sleep. We had no choice but to grit our teeth and get through it - the family next door checked out and chose to drive home for 3 hours as it was better than hanging out in a sauna. I'm a big fan of Premier Inns usually but the family rooms here are untenable and borderline dangerous during summer. If you have to book, I would strongly advise getting a room on the evens side (the odd rooms are sun facing and just don't lose the heat), and sleeping on the floor if you have a child with you. I went through this so you don't have to.

  From the moment we entered the hotel room it was 32 degrees, a small fan was provided what could not effect the sheet heat, my Dad stopping as well was nearly vomiting and passing out from heat exhaustion and possible heat stroke. The customer relations team state that due to it stating on the website this hotel having no air conditioning they will not entertain any refund for this health and saftey nightmare. If you have any health issues or complications, elderly family members or children PLEASE DO NOT STOP HERE, it is dangerous and quite frankly unsafe. I have stopped in premier inns all my life and this will be my last. I refuse to give my money or that of my family to a hotel that care so little about the wellbeing and safety of their guests. Please avoid and stay anywhere else.

  Premier Inn Daybrook has one major problem. It is very hot in the bedrooms. The website does clearly state it doesn't have air conditioning so they are aware of the potential issue resulting in this. They do provide a fan in the room which circulates the warm air but very little impact otherwise. Anyone with a health issue that could be worsened by this just avoid this hotel completely. Premier Inn need to address this issue before a serious incident occurs. We did stay during the warm spell in late June 2026 but any warm weather will create problems. Anyone already booked in I would recommend bringing your own fan and be careful.

  We had a lovely stay and were greeted pleasantly from all staff. Our room was kept lovely and cool for us and staff kept up topped up well with drink supplies. I will definitely be coming back, thankyou.

  We stayed before and after a wedding on 4th and 5th June 26. There were 8 of us in total. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast's were well cooked and tasty . Next door is a Pub so the pre event evening meal and drinks were perfect. There is also a number of decent supermarkets close by should you require provisions
