  I went on line and read that if I book at Q parks Talbot Street I could obtain a discount code from the Premier Inn when I pay for parking after 2 days. This included a discount of 40%. The hotel denied that this was available. We were informed that we could drop off our luggage at the hotel and park up for 20 minutes. We checked in, had an issue with my shareholder card that generates a complimentary breakfast. The air conditioning in the room did not work. We were informed by the reception staff that it states on the we site that AC is not available in any part of the building. When we left after around 20 minutes we were told we needed to pay for a full day's parking which was £27. No discount was offered. I would not stop here again. The parking is a massive issue here. It needs sorting out. Just another dissatisfied customer.

  We visited here the other week, we have stayed in Premier inns many a time and had no issues. Unfortunately when we stayed here we did not enjoy our stay. The rooms were way too hot, this hotel is not built for warm weather. Eventhough it was 17 degrees outside overnight we were absolutely roasting (and I mean sweating heavily) all night and it was so hot I just couldn’t sleep. There was a fan in the room but this didn’t help and the window was open but it doesn’t open enough to let a breeze in. After a night out in Nottingham when all you want to do is sleep this was horrendous, I actually think we would have got a better nights sleep in the car. It was so hot my partner actually slept on the floor. This hotel definitely needs some updating and urgently needs aircon installing. We would not stay at this particular premier inn because of this.

  Absolutely fantastic stay. Great location and great Staff to really make my birthday visit extra special. Jake offered ice and great service and Elle went even further and provided me feel like a VIP with even a bottle of of bubbly for me and my best friend. Such a memorable stay and I highly recommend. Air Conditioning is seriously needed to make things more comfortable. Well done Elle and Jake and thanks again.

  This is by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all the temperature is very hot at the moment and this hotel does not have air-conditioning, which I only found out when I arrived. The receptionist told me that the room would have a fan available, which didn't help very much as I didn't have the option to move it closer to me while I was sleeping and it was absolutely filthy covered in dust. I then went to use the bathroom, which was also filthy - the toilet had clearly been used prior to me entering the room as you can see in the photos and the towels had stains on them as well. There is no iron in the room so I went downstairs to ask reception for one and they told me to get one myself out of the cupboard with no offer to get it for me or even show me where it was. There wasn't a lot circulation in the room without the fan as the window does not open very much. I will never stay here again and even one star was very generous of a rating.

  Looks are deceiving as on the surface this is a great hotel with excellent transport links. Look closer and you'll see the serious lack of Aircon or ventilation in the rooms (absolutely sweltering in the heat). Any premier inn that provides fans in rooms is an enormous red flag! Restricted opening windows allow you to try to sleep over the sound of the kitchens extractor fans. The lifts frequently break down. The staff are great and try to make do with a bad lot but there just aren't enough of them, usually only one person to cover reception, the bar AND take food orders in the restaurant. Get used to waiting to check-in. Waiting for a drink. Waiting to be seated. Waiting to order. Waiting to pay. The Thyme restaurant only offers a limited array of main courses including the ever present burger options. Breakfast is the usual fare left out under heat lamps too long wiith frequent missing staples - for instance scrambled egg is either yellow, dry and rubbery or just not offered at all. Deliveroo riders are frequently dropping off better food from other providers. The Ultimate WiFi frequently drops out and needs to be reconnected, the Free WiFi doesn't have this problem Parking is NOT free but a tram stop is just outside the hotel.
