  Premier Inn is still the best value for money hotel brand in the country, in my opinion, and this one delivers as expected.

  The staff and the location are great, bed is comfortable, however the room we just checked out of today seemed like it hadn't been cleaned properly for months, cobwebs on the ceiling, spiderwebs with spiders in the corners and the dust that came out of the room fan when we switched in on was ridiculously disgusting, tried to have a bath a couple of times and couldn't get water hot enough. Also, no smart tvs in room so couldn't even cast to the tv to watch our own things, had to watch rubbish tv channels. Not sure we would stay again

  Had a meal in the restaurant at Wellingborough. Kacper looked after us extremely well and we had a lovely meal cooked by the chef, Callum. Between them they provided excellent service and lovely food. Could not ask for more from them. Also Victoria on reception was extremely helpful and informative. She gave us a very friendly welcome. First rate service all round and would highly recommend for a stay near Northampton.

  Unfortunately not the best premier inn experience I have had. Reception lady didn’t speak I just stated my name and was given some bits to fill out before being handed my key card. During the night around 1:30am other guests were returning to their rooms and I was in room 115 the constant door closing which then made my door vibrate and make a rattling noise kept me awake. There was also a lot of dust on the ceiling and rolled up bit of toilet roll on the floor from the previous guests. Breakfast was booked and arrived at 06:45 as agreed was told there would be a 10 min wait but we waited 40 mins before any food arrived. It was so late we had to leave before we could finish as we had a work course to attend. The staff are in training currently it seems. Some guests arrived after us and were served hot food way ahead of us. I say that there should always be a buffet style service so there is no waiting around for Janice to cook the food. Will make me think twice about booking a premier inn which is a shame as I thought you couldn’t go wrong with them. The hotel is in refurbishment stage and is in need of an update with dated doors and furniture you can tell it’s due! The manager was polite on our exit.
