  Went here for a rest stop between Wales and Scotland and it's a great place to stay. The staff are so friendly and the room is clean and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my family and friends

  Comfy rooms, the hotel is about 1 mile from the town. Sadly no granola for breakfast!

  NOISY ROOMS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Rooms and corridors very noisy. Could hear other guests through the walls, outside in the corridors and walking around in the room above throughout the stay which kept us up. Spoke to reception who were unable to move us and handed us a card referring us to customer service to claim under Premier Inn's 'Good Night Guarantee' - of course they refused any level of refund despite the hotel reception staff making us aware of the policy in the first place and accused us of lying about the complaint we made. The hotel is also located in a dodgy industrial estate with people rough sleeping and is a very long and unpleasant walk away from Alnwick. I would pay slightly more for a hotel actually in Alnwick that will treat their customers nicely.

  Modern Premier Inn. Industrial estate location but inside good! Dinner and breakfast good, service friendly.

  I chose the Premier Inn over other places in Alnwick as with a Premier Inn you basically know what you're getting. Alnwick has a lot of guesthouses etc but the quality can vary. This Premier Inn was OK but not great. The check in with a machine seemed unnecessarily complicated - particularly as a member of staff was right there (though insisting on me using the machine). One of the staff was quite abrupt and gave the impression I should have magically known various things about the hotel. Another was much nicer. The food wasn't as nice or as good value as at other Premier Inns I've stayed at. The room was clean but the bath drain was not. It also didn't say anywhere that none of the windows open. Lastly, there didn't seem to be enough staff and they didn't look particularly professional. One member of staff at breakfast had on jogging bottoms with visible stains. I completely understand the need for comfort but there's comfortable and then there's scruffy.
