  Standard Premier Inn with it's own restaurant. Friendly welcome. 10 minute walk from town centre. Has free parking for guests. My motorbike felt secure.

  Lovely clean hotel room, had tea, coffee, sugar ect. Had every thing you would need, hair dryer, towels, great size bath, will return again.

  Great location and a Nice clean and tidy hotel. The only thing letting it down is the staff standing around on their mobiles or chatting to each other whilst customers were waiting for drinks. Easy parking, decent WiFi ( if you buy the ultimate WiFi)

  Although this Premier Inn is on the edge of Monmouth it's an easy 15 minute walk to the town centre. I hadn't used the electronic check in before and the machine wasn't that obvious as you walk in to reception, so took me a few minutes to figure out the system. A helpful member of staff did quickly appear to give assistance. I was also confused when I got into my room and there was no electric power.I eventually realised you had to insert the room card into a slot next to the door to turn on the electric. The room was neat and tidy and immaculately clean. The air con was a big bonus with all the hot weather were now having.The shower was excellent and easy to use and I really enjoyed my early morning shower. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I think it would be a good idea if rooms were provided with light double blankets as a substitute for quilts in hot weather. Mini fridges in rooms would also be useful for cold drinks in hot weather. I think Premier Inns are great value even if they lack the personal touch of traditional hotels.

  Currently running the length of the UK. I have stayed at over 14 hotels by this point and not had a bad experience. Arrived at this hotel with my partner and my friend who was helping me that day. Was sat at a table to order food for all. And a member of staff confronted my friend for having a drink that wasn’t purchased from the menu despite the fact we had just spent 12 hours running which we made clear and just needed a drink he had pulled from his running pack. We were just about to order food and she passive aggressively mentioned this again. We stood up and left, missing out on £40 plus of potential customers. We also, asked reception if it would be possible to put 3 freezer packs in the freezer for us to collect in the morning. The woman said that this would be fine. By morning to collect, they had just left them on the side and no doubt that the mardy staff member from the food interaction had something to do with this. Usually wouldn’t leave a review but in contrast to my last 2 weeks of hospitality and warm welcomes it was hard to not notice the poor customer service and rude staff member (which was fixated on a drink like we were in a restaurant at the ritz). Bizarre woman
