  Just an average premier inn, one of those places that does what it says on the tin. Rooms are basic but fine, location isn’t bad, buses are close and roughly 20 minute walk to the busier areas. Small amount of road noise from the floor we were on (1st floor) but this can be expected in a city. The rooms would benefit from an update as they are a bit 2010 vibe but they’re clean enough. A fridge would be nice so drinks could be stored for when you arrive back after a day out. Air con is centrally locked out so “cooling” was the only option available without asking the staff to unlock, should be locked to auto if anything to give best of both worlds. TV’s could do with updating to modernise. Tea & coffee facilities available in the room along with basic hair dryer.

  Ein rund um gutes und solides Hotel nicht weit von den Sehenwürdigkeiten entfernt. Alles fussläufig zu erreichen. 24/7 Rezeption. Unglaublich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer sind sehr ruhig, groß und das Bett ist sehr bequem. Nachts kommt man nur noch mit Hotelkarte rein und die Zimmertür lässt sich doppelt abschließen. Ausreichend Platz im Zimmer mit vielen Zudecken. Sobald man ein Anliegen hat wird sich wirklich sofort darum gekümmert. Der Gast steht hier absolut im Mittelpunkt. Frühstück ist überschaubar und sehr britisch bzw. schottisch, was ich persönlich aber nicht als negativ empfand. Ich kann das Hotel definitv empfehlen. Preis-/Leistung ist absolut spitze. Ich war sehr zufrieden.

  Great stay in Edinburgh! Room 223 was spacious, clean, and very quiet. The hotel is in a superb location close to main attractions and daily necessities like supermarkets. The front desk staff were consistently friendly and eager to assist. Special thanks to Ross for his outstanding service—he proactively explained the room cleaning process and gave us a brilliant pasta recommendation. We would definitely stay here again! 飯店位置鄰近景點跟超市，房間空間大且有浴缸，櫃檯人員都很友善，尤其是Ross不只主動提醒我們清理房間需要通知櫃檯，還推薦我們附近好吃的義大利麵^u^

  We arrived at around 2:20pm. Check in wasnt until 3pm. There were around another 20 peolle waiting around in reception to check in as there was a Bon Jovi concert on in Edinburgh. We asked the two ladies on the desk at check in whether there was a chance we could check in early as we were going to miss the early entry to the concert, they asked our names and said that the cleaner hadn't made the rooms up yet. We waited in the bar until around 2:50pm and not one person from all those people in reception had been allowed to check in yet. Then I went upto the desk again at 2:50pm and said surely there must be a room available ? She tapped on her PC and said 'oh your rooms ready now'. Great. She gave us the key and everyone else in reception that was waiting started to move towards the reception to check in everyone was furious. We went to our room as we were in a hurry to dump our bags quickly and she had put us in the room on the landing opposite the lift doors just out of spite. We opened the door and the bed was stripped with pillars and quilt all over the bed ! The room hadn't even been made up. When we came down there was a huge queue out of the hotel entrance of people waiting to check in. Those ladies had just purposefully made every single person wait until 3pm to check in knowing that there were two concerts on in Edinburgh that day. Terrible customer service. Whilst i'm at it please replace the toilet paper sheets you have with real toilet roll. Not really quality is it. A bug bear every time I use your hotels which us frequently.

  Service in restaurant poor for evening meal .3 of us had nearly eaten our meal before the smothered chicken came out for our 4th person. Mushroom was not even cooked on the steak meal ,it was sent back .Mixed grill ,the chicken was like a flat pancake. Abel the senior staff on duty was good and very apologetic.Breakfast was much better and food good. Rooms weren't cleaned the tag was put on the door .Apparently you have to ask at reception for a room to be cleaned .Carpet in corridors was old looking .Location was excellent foe the castle and a hop on hop off bus stop . No car park we are booked a Q park spot about 10 mins away .
