  Love everything the food the location and the employees. Specifically the chef👨‍🍳 o cook the breakfast🍳☕🍞 for my family. Thank you so much to taking care off us. 🥰

  Stayed at the Premier inn for a work based training in Edinburgh. We booked through our company and found on arrival breakfast hadn't been ordered. The staff were extremely helpful and added the breakfast package onto our room reservation so we had breakfast arranged. The rooms were very spacious and luxurious with all mod cons and comforts. The room and hotel were very clean and tidy with all decor of a very high standard. The breakfast was both hot buffet and continental and all was delicious each day we had the breakfast. The hotel ws a 10 minute walk from a huge shopping centre and 10 minutes walk to the train station whereby you could get the train direct to Edinburgh Central. All in all a very good base for visiting Edinburgh and all of the facilities were first class.

  We often choose Premier Inn as a convenient and reliable option for family stays, but this visit was exceptionally good thanks to the wonderful staff. A special thank you to Michaela, who looked after us brilliantly at breakfast and also went above and beyond to help retrieve my laptop after I foolishly left it in the room! Top marks and hugely appreciated. It’s a lovely Premier Inn, conveniently tucked away just off the A1, and we’d happily return. Thank you for helping make our family holiday so special.

  Plus: - Staff is nice - Check out at noon! - Clean and nice room - Hot water and lovely bathtub - Comfy bed and extra pillows ans super soft sheets - Blackout curtains - Convenient location right next to fort kinnair retail estate - 10 minute walk to lots of shops! The retail estate is really nice! They even have a fairly big puregym next to m&s where you can get a cheap day pass. - Good bus links to city centre and royal infirmary hospital in little france Con: - Need microwave in breakfast room - staff refused to warm my oat milk, only provided soya milk and not even warm. I have stayed at another premier inn in edinburgh and a microwave was provided for customers there - Only fried eggs provided - have to ask for scrambled eggs which when it is busy seems like a burden - Can book hour for breakfast but not sure how strict about it - also when booking that time people should be asked if want veggie sausage/scrambled eggs etc as it takes a while to prepare these - Bought the wifi premier package at £5 a day - a bit of a faff to add new codes every day - worked ok apart from the last day - In room, there is a sign for recycling - to leave by bin but suggest an actual separate recycling bin instead! As leaving near bin means more clutter. - generally quiet but at times can hear tv next door and when someone walking above

  Hotel is very basic, no frills - no bathroom in the lobby (but there is a restaurant attached so you can use that one when its open), no coffee maker... just a kettle), no stand to put your suitcase on and no drawers to unpack anything, no phone in the room, no iron... etc. It did have a Hairdryer. Could use some repairs/updates - curtains were old and ratty/torn but they did block the light, bathroom had visible water damage from guests leaving things wet (baseboards, door), the mirror around the edges. Nothing major and really no big deal IMO... Just putting it all out there. The most important part was that it was clean!!! Staff are very friendly and helpful! Location is great as the train is right across the street and Edinburgh is only 2 stops/10 minutes away. With that said, you will hear the train and the last one passes by around midnight and first one around 6am. Overall, this was a pleasant stay and I would stay again.
