We often stay at this little Premier Inn, and always have a great stay due to excellent customer service and cleanliness of the rooms. We arrived yesterday and found this little note and a box of Jaffa cakes which was a really cute little touch, thank you very much! We'll definitely be back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic stay – brilliant value, spotless & great staff!
Premier Inn Manchester Swinton is an absolute gem and delivers way beyond expectations for the price. Check-in was quick and friendly, the team were welcoming and really helpful throughout our stay — nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was immaculately clean, spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept perfectly. Everything felt well-maintained and fresh. The on-site restaurant was really handy; breakfast was great quality with plenty of choice, and service there was lovely too.
Location is perfect — easy to find right on Bolton Rd, great for getting around Manchester and the surrounding area. It’s quiet, peaceful, and feels safe — exactly what you want from a budget hotel.
Yes, there aren’t USB ports in the rooms — just take a wall adapter and it’s no problem at all! Honestly, that’s the tiniest of details and it doesn’t take anything away from how brilliant this place is.
Consistently great, reliable, and such good value. We’ll definitely be staying here again whenever we’re in the area! 💯
Stayed here with the Mrs for the weekend and was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the rooms and facilities were maintained very well. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Trying to connect to the WiFi was difficult, even when paying for the premium, but It was quickly rectified when I emailed support. Plugging in my firestick wasnt easy, the tvs on the wall and the socket below didnt work. Comfy bed, clean room.

I only chose this Premier Inn because I was travelling in a large van and needed somewhere with a spacious car park and no height restrictions. On that front, it delivered. The outdoor car park is large, easy to access and had plenty of room, which is the main reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was pretty disappointing. The photos online make the hotel look much nicer than it actually is. Reception felt strange, cramped and unwelcoming. When I asked whether the rooms had a fridge because I'd brought some dairy products for breakfast, the receptionist laughed and simply said no.
The room itself was large, with a double bed and a single bed, but it felt very sparse and not particularly welcoming. The dressing table and TV were positioned on the far side of the room, and there were very few furnishings to make the space feel comfortable.
The cleanliness and maintenance were not up to standard. I found a large hairball beside the single bed and also noticed a hairclip left on the floor. Neither item was a major issue in itself, but together they suggested the room hadn't been cleaned particularly thoroughly and gave the impression of a lack of attention to detail.
There were also several maintenance issues. Half of the ceiling lights didn't work, the bathroom light wasn't working properly, and the extractor fan didn't work at all.
The room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning. The windows only open slightly due to the safety restrictors, so there was very little ventilation. A fan was provided, but having to run it all night created a constant background noise.
Another frustration was the lack of conveniently located power sockets. There was only one socket near the bed, while all the others were on the opposite side of the room by the TV.
The tap water was unpleasant to drink and wasn't cold at all, although the shower itself worked perfectly fine.
Overall, I had a very poor night's sleep, mainly because of the heat and the fan running all night. The large, accessible car park was the only real positive. Unless you specifically need parking for a large vehicle, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
