Solid stay Premier Inn, clean, modern rooms, comfy beds and staff are friendly and helpful. Location’s brilliant, literally minutes’ walk to Southgate Tube so getting into central London is straightforward . Big downside: free parking isn’t included, you must pay extra to park onsite or nearby, which adds noticeably to your total cost . Apart from that expense, it’s reliable, quiet and great value otherwise, just remember to budget for parking if driving.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. All staff were very nice and helpful especially Anjith in the dinning room. The multistorey car park attached to the hotel building is very convenient. Thank you.

Ideally placed for Piccadilly Line to central London (or Arsenal in my case). Excellent staff. Southgate has pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Pay for parking in reception not on the machine in the car park.
The hotel was decent overall, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. It felt very much like a self-service hotel, with minimal interaction from staff. Free tea, coffee, milk and sugar were available at reception, which was a nice touch but pretty basic again.
One member of staff stood out and was particularly helpful. They kindly validated our parking for the following day because we knew we wouldn't be back at the hotel by 4pm. That was appreciated, although the parking validation system itself is confusing and poorly thought out, as it doesn't seem to work well with the way guests actually use the hotel, nor did one of the members of staff know how to use it properly.
The bed was extremely comfortable, and the extra pillows made for a great night's sleep, which was one of the highlights of our stay.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathroom let the hotel down. There was visible dirt on the shower wall, and the shower head was covered in limescale, making it feel like it hadn't been properly cleaned in some time. We were also only provided with a very limited amount of toilet paper for a two-night stay, which meant it easily ran out. Luckily for us, we always pack our own during stays.
Overall, the stay was comfortable thanks to the bed and the helpful staff member, but better attention to cleanliness and a more practical parking system would make a noticeable difference.

Location great, parking great, room awful.
I haven’t stayed at a Premier Inn for some time but booked a last minute stay for a Sunday night thinking I knew what to expect. Room was open when I arrived with a cleaning cloth on the floor outside. My stay wasn’t that last minute! Tired room, dirty bathroom, the last guests still damp towel hung on the door, toilet, soap dispenser, grout, shower curtain and walls dirty. Bedroom. Bed, thankfully clean but the rest, questionable stains on the sofa and loads of stains on the unhoovered carpet. Not up to standard for a Premier Inn
