I cm in on 7th was greeted by Kristina who was polite but progressional in checking me in.Got an imp message where my signature were required . Went back down and inspite of being busy attending to other clients Kristina was able to help me with the needful as I am not a Computer Savvy at all . But she got papers done and printed them up fr me where by i eas able to email it to the respective . She Saved the day . I really do appreciate her patience helpfulness and professionalism . Even when fr some odd reason my key did not work she fixed the problem and layter forgot my key was able to give me a temporary one to open my room . She is the best and I di commend her as being one of yr guest employees who go a mile futher inmaking us customers feel safe and looked after. Thank you her smiling attitude I was able to get my work done . Thank you Kristina.
Disappointing stay at Premier Inn London Kings Cross. As loyal guests who have stayed in this chain over 10 times, we noticed a sharp decline in service quality during our week-long stay in July 2026.
Key issues:
Two out of three elevators were broken for the entire week. When reported, the reception staff was dismissive, stating only "the elevators are faulty," with no apparent effort to resolve the issue.
Housekeeping was frequently unavailable. On several days, we were told outright that they would not clean our room due to "too much work."
The front desk staff was generally unhelpful and indifferent to guest concerns.
Given this experience, we will not be returning to this hotel chain.

⭐ Premier Inn London Kings Cross — paying for the postcode, not the room
I stayed for two nights and left genuinely disappointed. The location near King’s Cross is the only thing this hotel has going for it — everything else fell well short of what you’d expect even from a budget property, let alone one charging central London prices.
The room itself was tired and poorly maintained. The carpet was stained and uneven — not something you want under your bare feet first thing in the morning. The desk chair was in a shocking state: peeling and falling apart to the point where I was reluctant to sit on it. The window hadn’t been replaced in years — yellowed plastic frame, loose handle, and glass so dirty it was unpleasant to look through. The air conditioning unit was equally dated: visibly yellowed casing and dusty, clearly not serviced in a long time (though it did function). Some walls were chipped and peeling.
Cleanliness was an issue from the moment I arrived. The sink hadn’t been properly cleaned — toothpaste or something similar was still visible on it. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned in some time.
What was missing despite being listed as included: no toilet brush, no bottled water (listed as provided), and housekeeping didn’t visit once during my two-night stay.
Wi-Fi was essentially unusable — around 1.5 Mbps, which forced me to use mobile data for everything.
The fridge was empty and wobbled noticeably every time you opened it.
The lifts — three of them, one working. Long waits, dirty cabin, doors that barely open.
To be fair: the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was good. That’s genuinely it.
This is listed as 3 stars. I’d call it 1, generously. My company covered the cost, but I’d have been furious paying out of pocket. You’re not booking a hotel room here — you’re booking a location.
Stefan at the reception is highly professional! An asset to the hotel! Made my family's stay memorable! Thank you! Great location! On the downside, lifts often not working properly during our 2 weeks stay! Breakfast doesn't offer much choice and if something run out, is not immediately filled again. (We had to ask everyday when they were no eggs, no yogurt and no bananas left). People working there should be more aware of what is missing.
