Stayed last night for a concert. Arrived to the room and it was boiling. There was a stand up fan in there, which surprised us as lots of premier inns have air con. Went to go and turn it on and it was already on! The room was 30 degrees on the little screen display. We were only in there for a while and we were sweating, uncomfortable, and to be quite honest it was hard to breathe. We left for our concert, came back and the room was now 31.5 degrees! After a while, we went downstairs to ask if there was anything we could do…just to be told the aircon wasn’t working throughout the whole building (but worked in the reception??) and it was out of their control. We were offered another fan, and it was to be brought to the room. The fan obviously did not make it to us. Going to sleep was an effort due to the heat and the noise of outside, light sleep for a couple of hours, then both of us being wide awake at 6:30 absolutely boiling,(probably our bodies screaming for help) as the room was now 32.5-33 degrees. We decided to sack off our original plans, get out of the hotel early and leave. Leaving the hotel was - literally - a breath of fresh air. There was no warning of the aircon not working before / during our stay, just a half arsed apology. I feel like coming off the back of a heatwave, it might be wise to let people know before hand if they’re going to boil to death in the rooms. You could not get comfy, anytime you moved NEVERMIND went into the bathroom your hair would be sticking to your neck. Also, no proper toilet roll, was paper sheets, and glasses in the rooms were dirty so couldn’t even have a drink! Absolutely do not recommend to anybody

Absolutely horrible hotel, do not stay here. We spent £360 for two nights at this hotel. It’s such a shame, we have stayed all over the country at different premier inns and they have all been excellent so obviously expected this with this one. The hotel is old, tatty and is in desperate need for refurbishment. We checked in at the hotel and were told by the reception staff that there is no aircon in the rooms and that a fan has been supplied. The room was like a sauna and no matter what we tried it stayed that way. One stand up fan was on in the room. It made no difference, just distributed hot air around the room. I tried to move the fan to a more convenient space in the room and the base of it fell apart. I went and complained to reception after being in the room for less than an hour about the heat. All they could do was apologies and say that we can get another fan from the “customer services” cupboard on our floor. I went to the cupboard and there were no fans. It took 3 floors before I found a fan, again that was broken but it had to do. (Again I will reiterate £360 for TWO NIGHTS) we plugged in the fan and again it made absolutely no difference on the top setting left on all day with the windows open. The room was like a prison and I wouldn’t leave a dog in there Never mind a human being. I went to reception and complained to the staff member. The manager said it’s the same in the whole hotel (however funny how the air-con works at reception isn’t it) I spoke to the manager who said we should have got an email stating that the air conditioning isn’t working beforehand. We did not receive such email. I told her that if I received this email I would NOT have booked the hotel. I also stated that I want to refund and I will rebook the hotel further down the road, premier inn King’s Cross who said that if I book it there would be no guarantee that we would get a refund and that the staff there can transfer our booking over however it would be at an extra cost of £70 for something not under our control. We had to rush for a concert so I found yet another fan and plugged it in the room and went out. After we got back at early hours of the morning, the room was still like a sauna. We had to completely strip the bed sheet down we could even attempt to sleep. Try keeping the window open on Euston road too and sleep, it’s hard with traffic and emergency service sirens. Over the two nights, neither of us slept well. If anything one maybe two Broken hours of sleep. It’s funny because Premier inn promise a good night guarantee, I would like to know how to claim this for both the nights that we had here as we did not sleep well at all despite the promise. It’s impossible and I know I’m not alone as I could hear the complaints from reception. I will be in touch with your customer service and I expect a reply as soon as possible. Do not stay at this hotel, after looking at reviews it’s clear that premier inn are not interested in customer feedback because google reviews and Tripadvisor are not looking good. I believe that I have done everything possible and qualify for the good night guarantee refund. I spoke to reception who said we can have another fan, I tried another fan it did not work. Reception said to move us it would cost an extra £70 and that there is nothing they can do for the aircon. I have contacted your customer service online form at the time of writing this review and included a link to the review. Terrible weekend. I will NOT be staying at another premier inn again.

⭐️☆☆☆☆ Dreckig, kaputt, fehlerhafte Angaben & Ausreden beim Service – Absolute Katastrophe! ⭐️☆☆☆☆ Filthy, outdated, false advertising & excuses from management – A total nightmare! We recently stayed at Premier Inn London Euston, and the entire experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. To begin with, we were completely misled about the amenities: Although the hotel is explicitly advertised with air conditioning on the booking page, there was none! Instead, the room only had a tiny desk fan that barely blew air from even 5 cm away. The room temperature was well over 30 °C. When we complained, the staff cheekily claimed they had sent us an email 14 days prior informing us about the lack of AC—an email we never received. The condition and hygiene of the room were simply unacceptable: Outdated & damaged: Very old decor and visible cracks in the ceiling panels. Disgusting hygiene: Hair on the bedspread, stains on the armchair, and someone else’s fake eyelashes left behind in the bathroom! Outdated bathroom: Just a bathtub with a filthy, repulsive shower curtain. After complaining, we were offered a transfer to another hotel, but even that turned into complete chaos: When we arrived at the new hotel, absolutely nothing had been arranged—neither the check-out at the old hotel nor the transfer of our details. False advertising, filthy conditions, cheap excuses from staff, and completely helpless management. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Avoid at all costs during summer! I paid £147 per room, plus an additional £15 for early check‑in for one of them, which is an unreasonable price given the condition of the rooms. Nowhere on the website does it state that the air conditioning is out of service. I did receive an email mentioning that the aircon wasn’t working and that fans would be provided, but the reality was far from comfortable. When we raised the issue immediately after checking in, staff appeared surprised and said they would “look into it”, despite this being a long‑standing problem for at least 1–2 years. We were offered an extra fan for each room and complimentary breakfast, which we accepted, but it felt more like an attempt to divert attention from the main issue rather than a genuine solution. When we asked again about the aircon being fixed, we were simply asked for our room numbers and told they would “look into it”. Later that evening, my mother‑in‑law asked for an update and staff still had no clear answer. The rooms reached 28°C at night, and with a 5‑year‑old and a 1‑year‑old, it was impossible for them to sleep comfortably. If it were just the adults, we might have tolerated it, but for the children it made the stay extremely difficult. Given that it’s peak summertime, this should have been the hotel’s top priority to fix the issue. By 1am the heat was unbearable. None of us had slept, and it was clear we were facing a sleepless night. Angelo on the night shift confirmed there was nothing more they could or would do, despite the price we had paid for a horrible stay. He offered yet another fan, as the existing ones were barely functioning and blowing warm air. Altogether, we managed perhaps one or two hours of sleep at most. We have been loyal Premier Inn customers for many years, but our experience at Euston has seriously damaged our confidence in the brand. This stay was meant to be a leisure trip, but it was far from enjoyable. I got in touch with guest relations regarding these matters but they do not want to address the issues or fix the problems at this hotel. Very unsatisfactory response from them and extremely disappointing.
