  Great stay, very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of choice at breakfast and on the menu. Lots of shops and close to bus and tube routes.

  Ratings according to expectations, and the price, accommodation, and location suited us very well. The family room arrangement did not leave enough room to walk between beds, or between bed and window., but it wasn't a big problem for a couple of nights.

  Warning, it is extremely hot and stuffy in their rooms! AC and ventilation system doesn't work, they can't fix it and they will not let you open the windows (they are locked with a key).

  Overall, our stay was disappointing. The room was far too small for a family of four. The beds were pushed tightly against each other and the walls, leaving no space to get in from the side. We had to climb into bed from the end, which was very inconvenient. The carpet was also not properly cleaned. There was visible debris on it, and it looked like it had not been vacuumed thoroughly before our arrival. One thing future guests should be be aware of is that the windows cannot be opened. In such a small room with four people, the air became uncomfortable overnight. We woke up every morning with headaches and dry mouths, despite the air conditioning being on. If you are travelling as a family, this is something you should seriously consider before booking.

  Have stayed here at the Old street location many times over the last 3 years because it was close to my Daughter at University. Staying here over a weekend affords you free parking on nearby streets because some of them are business addresses. Be sure to move the car to alternate paid parking locations early Monday morning. It also sits just outside the congestion fee zone if you are driving in from northern locations. The hotel is modern and clean with a nice bar and restaurant for breakfasts and evening meals should you not want to be looking around and fancy an easy fix. It’s a relatively quiet area - and we generally have a peaceful nights sleep. Apart from the usual sounds of the city of course. The old street station is about a 100 metre walk with very fast tube links up to the mainline stations such as Kings X, Euston and St Pancras or South down towards London Bridge. There are also a number of bus stops just on the doorstep that provide easy access to various parts of London. It’s not central London but it’s a good base and as served us well.
