  We brought our grandchildren (aged 6 & 8 years) to London for the first time and booked to stay here (because of the very reasonable room & breakfast rate). The children were excited when we checked in and greeted warmly by the staff (including the doorman). Our bags were whisked away to storage and we went out into London. Later in the day, we returned to check in and, again, we were welcomed and the children were told about the room and "the best view" which thrilled them! The room was very adequate and had all the facilities we needed for a short stay and (once we worked out the air conditioning) we all slept well! Breakfast the following morning was a real treat! The food was plentiful, good quality and a wide range of choices. I suffer from coeliac disease and a dedicated waitress was assigned to ensure that everything I ate was uncontaminated by gluten. Impressive! This hotel is very conveniently located for exploring London and Docklands and also has lots of lovely public space around reception where we enjoyed a few games of Uno around a table during our visit. Checkout was handled with more chat and smiles from the staff and, as we left, the children asked how many days before we can return! That's a recommendation in itself and we will, undoubtedly, be back!

  The Premier Inn London City (Canary Wharf) is an excellent, affordable choice right outside the Westferry DLR station, but what truly sets it apart is the extraordinary hospitality of team member Nicos. When we hit a room hiccup during a chaotic early check-in, Nicos went above and beyond—staying completely unfazed by the long reception lines to personally ensure we were moved to a great alternative without delay. His genuine warmth and attentiveness didn't stop there. Nicos also looked after our family during a packed Monday breakfast service, taking proactive care to ensure our children's food allergies were safely catered for. Despite the team working endlessly between reception and the dining hall to handle the rush, Nicos delivered a masterclass in customer care. Outstanding staff like him make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.

  Stayed at the Premier Inn Canary Wharf Westferry hotel for 7 nights.Really well placed hotel for exploring both Canary Wharf and the rest of London.Hotel is located right next door to Westferry DLR and various bus stops nearby depending on where you want to go.The room was very spacious and very soundproof.Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and very polite,nothing was too much and they were always happy to help.Breakfast was very efficient and even during the peak times the wait wasn’t very long to get a table.Will definitely stay at this premier inn again,I travel a lot and always use premier inn’s and I would say this one has been the best.

  Good location next to Westferry DLR station so easy access to the train network. Staff were lovely and the hotel was clean, tidy and offered the usual premier inn experience which we enjoy. Special mention to the restaurant staff and chefs who handled a request for a gluten free, vegan breakfast brilliantly. Handled by an allergen trained member of staff and everything provided fresh from the kitchen, even down to the juice to limit any risk of cross contamination. Much appreciated at such a busy service.

  Our experience overall was great! We went to the hotel bar while waiting for check-in, and the staff took our luggage so we didn’t have to carry it around everywhere. We actually got our room about an hour early, which was really nice. The room was comfortable and had air conditioning, a spacious bathroom and shower, and the mattress and pillows were really comfortable — we slept very well. I’d probably recommend bringing your own toilet paper since the one provided was very thin, but honestly, that wasn’t much of an issue for us. The staff were very nice and helpful. You can also order a pizza 24/7 for £12, which definitely came in handy, haha. The location is great too — right next to the metro, and the closest shop is about 0.5 km away. One thing worth noting is that they have sensitive vape detectors, so you can’t vape in the rooms or bathrooms and have to go outside. It wasn’t an issue for me though, and I completely respect the policy. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return!
