We were given room 15 (basement room). It was dark and the bathroom smelt damp. The bed was very uncomfortable, it dipped heavily on both sides with a hard lump in the middle. This was visibly obvious so I don't know why a cleaner hasn't reported this when making up beds. I complained and was told they would inform maintenance but nothing else offered. I think they were fully booked. I paid just over £500 for two nights and came away with a bad back. When we left I checked under the bed to make sure we had everything and found the slats on both sides of the bed to be broken with the mattress pushing through. I have made a complaint via their complaints page but still haven't heard anything.
Breakfast was fine, we got seated straight away both mornings. The check in desks weren't working when we arrived and there was only one person on the desk meaning we had to wait a while.
Location was perfect and quiet.
Stayed 1 night , swift check in but room
Literally in the basement .
Then popped for evening meal and half order never came , also wrong drink delivered .
Breakfast was good but no fruit on offer to take away .

My daughter and I travelled from Canada and stayed for 6 days at Premier Hotel , Blackfriars in August 2025.
We loved the hotel and all staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating to any request that we had.
Hotel rooms were spacious and cleaned
regularly. Hotel offered a great breakfast buffet with lots of variety.
The # 1 thing I liked about this hotel was the location. It was easy for us to get to from the airport.
The Blackfriars train station just across the street and there were several corner stores , pubs and a Starbucks within 2 minute walking radius. We felt very safe walking around and lots of tourist attractions within walking distance.
I found the Hotel rates per night were very reasonable for what was offered.
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
I stay in hotels quite often in London. There are few reasons why I choose one place over another - over years the ones I've whittled down to preferred status all tend to be quite good - but sometimes there's an event that entices me to choose a particular place over a range of competitive alternatives. Is it comfort, value, service, food, ....? It could be any of those, of course, but on this occasion a single event will prompt me henceforth to choose this venue over all those other good competitors. Hats off to a guy called Yusuf who I encountered when he was collecting my breakfast dishes and utensils. Premier Inn, are you listening? This guy is pure gold! Charming, efficient, knowledgeable, and a perfect host. It seems to me that he should be elevated to something equivalent to Maitre d' status. The other staff were all good at what they do, but Yusuf stands tall above all others. I shall return quite often, I am sure, and I'll probably make a decision to dine here rather than in any of the local (very good) restaurants, just to experience Yusuf's brand of hospitality again.

This was a good hotel for the price. We had two adults and a teenager, so it was difficult to find hotels with multiple beds that were decently sized. This room had one queen (American name for it) and one twin/single. Both beds were decently comfortable. A bit firm for my liking but better than many hotels I’ve stayed in. Rooms were clean and quiet, and staff was courteous. Good location. Try ‘Indian City’ restaurant a block up, it was some of the best Indian food we’d had in a long time. There is a terrible smell outside the front doors to the hotel which made me nervous, but thankfully the inside is nice and clean.
