The hotel needs more staff. Get rid of those automated check-in terminals...or ensure they work effectively...they are very slow and unresponsive.
Sort your slow lifts out...they need urgent attention.
The TV in the room is also extremely slow to response anything!
Room lighting is poor and so is the room furniture. However, the bed was okay.
The bathroom sink tap is more of a spray than a proper flow.
However, the shower worked fine.
Breakfast was also good and the available staff were friendly and helpful.
Food wasn't brilliant here both for breakfast and dinner.
Coffee machine didn't work in room and nor did the aircon.
Staff were exceptionally helpful.
Some of the attitudes of the other guests was terrible which is obviously not under the control of premier inn.

Teresa was really helpful during my check-in. She was friendly, professional, and made everything very smooth and easy. Really appreciated her kindness, thank you, Teresa!
What a shame.. I hope it was just a one off bad experience but it was definitely a bad experience.. tried to book a room via phone call and the call kept cutting me off.. arrived at reception only to be greated by someone who clearly did not want to be there.. I asked for a room and was told no and can only be booked online.. After over 30mins later of dealing with the website that kept crashing.. I eventually got a room.. wow looking back I wish I never bothered. Room was dirty, bed had staines on it, the room itself was clearly out dated and in need of refurbishment, the shower was dirty, the corridor was just busy all night with extremely noisy drunk people, the lift was worryingly worn out and the other wasn't working.. in the morning I went down to ask for late check out and was told point blank NO!
I pointed out on the website it says late checkout is 2pm and he again just said NO.
Fed up, I just checked out, walked 5mins up the road to Holiday inn and the comparison is black and white..
Don't bother with Premier inn, just walk 5mins to Holiday inn.
I remember staying in a Premier inn a few years ago and it was amazing.. now... wow
Im not in the habit of taking photos of stuff because im not that bothered, but I wish I had..
Rooms have no fresh air, windows cannot be opened. Air con just circulates already sweltering air around the room. Absolutely impossible to sleep. If it's this bad in May, it must be completely unbearable in summer. Only one lift working so takes an age to get up to your room. Don't stay here if you have any accessibility needs.
No staff in reception, just a machine.
I really like Premier Inn but this one really isn't up to standard. Avoid.
