Convenient for train station but terrible customer service. Everything seems to be done through automated screens and I think I saw only one real person. Contact by phone is a shambles: taken to an automated chat service that goes round in circles before cutting off.

Really good location handy for the railway station and the town centre. Relatively modern Premier Inn but constantly let down by sloppy housekeeping.
Of the last three trips each has not been without issue. Trip 1 breakfast was virtually no existent despite me coming down at 0830. Lots of fellow guests equally disgruntled at lack of options available.
Stay 2 ended up having to go to reception for toilet paper as housekeeping had literally left the room (premier plus) with about six sheets. There was much faffing in reception whilst they tried to find me a loo roll - and tbh I'm glad I checked before I "committed".
Yesterday's trip once again a premier plus room and once again let down by poor attention to detail with the housekeeping. No soap for the shower or hand basin and only one large bath towel despite the room being booked for two people.

I had a really pleasant stay at the Premier Inn - Preston Central. The room was nice and clean, I had a great breakfast and was greeted by Taiyeb who offered great hospitality.
A really nice hotel at a great price! Always a good nights sleep at premier inn. My first time staying at this particular one and I am very satisfied.
I’d like to give a special thank you to Taiyeb (I think I’ve spelt his name wrong), anyway I went to reception this morning to try and book an extra night and to see if it was possible to stay in the same room so I didn’t have to check out and then back in again. This was no problem for him and he was extremely friendly and professional. He was working reception, whilst also taking guests into breakfast and ensuring that the food was topped up for guests. He’s a 10/10 member of staff! Thank you 🙏🏻
We stayed here the night before a train journey. The station is about a 10 minute walk so that was great.
Check in was quick and easy, someone at reception to help us with the self serve Check in which never seems to work in premier inns.
Our room was okay, clean enough and usual comfy premier inn bed.
A strange thing though the desk had been removed so there was just plug sockets across the wall where the desk should have been...very odd.
Had a decent night's sleep, the room was quiet being on the 10th floor so all good.
Thats is until breakfast. Well what can I say, we arrived in the restaurant around 8am. There were 4 tables occupied with people eating and 6 tables covered in dirty plates and food. We chose a table and straight away it just felt unclean. Table was tacky, seats were dirty, floor was dirty and generally just not clean.
Breakfast was acceptable at most, but to be honest the uncleanliness of everything just put me off and didnt enjoy the experience at all. I couldn't wait to get out of there! Even the coffee making area which was situated on the bar, I touched the bar and it was sticky and tacky.
There was a member of staff who I think was the manager just seemed to be walking round doing nothing, not clearing tables not cleaning just wandering.
All in all not the best premier inn experience we've ever had and definitely wouldn't book again!
