  The rooms are like Dante's Inferno with zero air circulation or adjustable temperature control, due to small window opening. (no aircon) Staff polite and friendly, but local amenities (shops and nearest pub) are a fair walk away. Very limited breakfast option, bacon roll etc.

  It's a premier inn, so you know what the expectation is. Takeaway breakfast option, didn't use it but it looked okay. The room could do with a refurb as the shower was grotty and it could do with a new carpet or a really good clean. A second socket on the desk would be useful as a fan was needed because the room was so hot.

  If I could give negative stars, I would!! Our two night stay at Premier Inn Manchester West Didsbury was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The room reached approximately 32°C on the first night and 31°C on the second. We had to sleep on top of the covers with the window open and a fan running. Because of the socket position, the fan couldn’t be placed effectively, so we had to place the fan on a chair between the desk & bed & sleep the wrong way around with our feet at the headboard to get any airflow. We reported the problem to reception, but no practical solution was offered. No room move offered no extra fan offered. To be clear, we knew the hotel had no air conditioning; that is not our complaint. The issue was the excessive heat and the lack of an effective response. And lack of sleep Leaving the window open caused significant traffic noise, while leaving the curtains open to let in cooler air meant we were woken by daylight. We had two consecutive nights of severely disrupted sleep before facing a seven-hour drive home to Scotland. The complaints process made matters worse. We were promised a response within 8 days, but the deadline passed without one. I then waited around 30 minutes on LiveChat after being told I would be transferred to an agent, but nobody responded. The eventual response focused only on the lack of air conditioning and completely missed the point. For a brand that promotes a “Good Night’s Sleep”, this was unacceptable! We would not stay here again or recommend it to our worst enemy

  Great for our 1 night stay. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. The shower was good (forgot to say the tap needs loosening- was a struggle to turn off #307). Bed comfortable & the fan kept us cool. No cooked breakfast but ‘to-go’ options onsite & list of nearby places.

  Spotless clean no air-conditioning and the small white fans while assured were good they were of no use. Used to have a restaurant beside it before which was lovely now only have a wagon outside the door with a 4 out of 10 service and choice
