We stayed here for a night in a family room with our 2 year old after a AirBnB went very wrong. It's not the best Premier Inn I've stayed in, but the standard is still great. The beds are marvellously comfortable and large. The blackout curtains are very effective and there was no noise (non match day) so my son went to sleep instantly. The room was large enough for our several suitcases and rain shower and bath were lovely.
I would say the bathroom needs replacing as its old, rusty and marked. The TV options are rubbish, frankly, and the in room drinks leave a lot to be desired, but for £57 for 3 of us in an emergency it was everything we needed.
The place was amazing the service was ok but some of the employees were very rude the best employee was amiee. She was very nice n her service was the best I recommend this hotel but overall amiee was the best employee in Yh world she should get a raise

Great stay and service
We stayed 4 nights, clean room and bath, close to public transport, Victoria warehouse and the stadium but still a calm place.
Even though we couldn’t spontaneously use early check in because so many people came in at once, we were able to leave our luggage in a closed room for the day. Later my extra wish of a separate blanket was fulfilled as well
I once missed breakfast but the receptionist still made me a coffee, great guy.
Would recommend!

We always book Premier Inns when we visit the UK as they are great value, comfortable and the breakfasts are great.
This hotel was no exception. But, we'd definitely prefer a walk-in shower and one major problem that we came across is that, as my husband sleeps with a CPAP machine, we need a proper plug socket by the bed. This seems like an unfortunate oversight in Premier Inns but should be addressed as CPAP machines are not all that uncommon.
Also, there were 3 of us in our room so why only 2 cups??
I've stayed at Premier Inn many times over the years, so I was disappointed by my recent two-night stay in Manchester.
The air conditioning in my room stopped working during the first night, leaving the room very hot. I reported it to receptionist (not a great person) the following day. The receptionist initially said it was working, but eventually came to the room and confirmed that it wasn't. I was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do, so I was given a fan instead, which was also very noisy.
I contacted customer services during my stay and later followed up after returning home. I was then told that maintenance had checked the air conditioning after I had left and found it working. My original complaint had apparently not been logged by reception, and nobody asked to see the video I had taken of the issue.
I completely understand that things can malfunction, and I understand that a fully booked hotel may not have another room available. What I find disappointing is that a problem reported during my stay was not properly recorded, and the complaint was then dismissed because the fault couldn't be reproduced after I had left.
I've never experienced this with Premier Inn before, which is why this was particularly disappointing. I hope the company reviews how these complaints are handled and that this derails someone from choosing to stay in such a place. Everyone deserves a good experience.
