  No-one books Premier Inn expecting luxury – it’s a budget chain good for a single night’s sleep. But this place is lacking in basics I would expect even a budget place to have. Like toilet roll. Nobody wants to use single sheets of see-through tissue from a cheap nightclub style dispenser in their hotel bathroom. Stop being cheap and supply proper toilet rolls. It doesn’t matter if people steal them – you’re charging enough for the room to cover the cost. The window don’t open, not even a crack, so there was no fresh air despite a sign saying there was a supply (how would this even be possible??) and there were holes in the curtains. Then there are the usual issues – no mirrors near any sources of natural light, no coat hangers that can be used to anywhere other than the wardrobe (wanted to steam a top while I took a shower, but no, not possible), not enough counter space in front of the badly-lit dressing mirror. No suitcase rack (do you want guests to put their dirty cases on the furniture? Seems like it), no plugs on one side of the bed. Honestly, who designs these rooms?? Our room was thankfully situated in a quiet corner of the hotel so noise wasn’t an issue, but honestly it was the only satisfactory thing going for this place, besides the central location. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns in Manchester City Centre and they’re all facing some of the same design issues, but this one had the most additional problems. That’s possible reflected in the fact it’s a little cheaper, but they’re all overpriced for what you get.

  Me and my partner had the greatest time staying here! We've been to many Premier Inns but this is the definitely the best one we've had, with incredible customer service and great value for money. When we come back to Manchester we'll most certainly be back thank you for having us.

  Really great stay, stayed for 2 nights and the lovely ladies that served us on the reception were so helpful shout out to Mel & unfortunately didn't get the other ladies name so I will attach a photo. Hotel room was lovely and clean, no issues at all. Would recommend staying here.

  This hotel was in an area we were not familiar with. It was a nice quiet area. It did take a bit of finding. We did not have a lot to do with the staff, but they seemed efficient. The room was nice and quiet, and clean. It had good sound proofing. The pillows were quite hard, but I'm sure if we had asked they would have changed them. Good base for concerts, but a bit of walking needed, so you need to be good on your feet.

  Room was dated and in need of upgrade, breakfast was cold and limited choice, interacted with 3 staff members only 1 was friendly I wouldn't stay at the premier inn again.
