  Good location but some Tram noise can be heard. Rooms are clean but could do with some updating. Public areas with bar and restaurant are pleasant with friendly staff. Nice menu with Good breakfast.

  The noisest hotel i have ever stayed in....trams running outside Every few mins till 0100 in the morning then starting around 0600 ....terrible

  I arrived after 3pm but my room wasn’t ready, I was given a disabled room which was no problem but their seemed to be a foam topper or something to raise the mattress and I didn’t sleep well, only realised the morning after. Not sure why as it had gone 3pm my room wasn’t ready?

  Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The staff were friendly and welcoming when you could find them, and the food was decent, which were the main positives. The room itself felt quite outdated. The carpet looked dirty enough that I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot, there was no hairdryer in the room, and the TV was very slow and lagged when changing channels. The biggest issue was the noise. Parking costs £16 per night, yet getting a good night’s sleep was almost impossible. The hotel is next to a railway/tram line, and throughout the evening and night there was constant noise from trains, people shouting outside, cars screeching, loud bangs and general disturbance. Keeping the window open wasn’t an option because of how noisy it was. I ended up checking out a day early because I simply wasn’t enjoying my stay. Overall, I expected much better for the price and won’t be returning.
