Staff were very friendly on arrival, rooms were very clean, bathroom was showing a little wear and tear. The breakfast was very good quality and well stocked. 9/10 all round.

Nothing wrong per se, but it did feel a bit unloved. Staff were friendly and attentive, rooms were nice. Just a premiere in at the end of the day
French connection was great Karen was really friendly
Perhaps we were unlucky to be given two rooms on the first floor. Both rooms were disturbed throughout the night by bursts of extremely loud footsteps from above, continuing until around 7am. This wasn’t just isolated to one room, others in my group were staying in a room on the opposite side and experienced the same issue.
By that point, it was impossible to get any more sleep. I got into the shower and, within a minute of washing my hair, the fire alarm went off. It persisted long enough to completely disrupt the morning.
When I raised this at reception, the response was indifferent, simply stating it was a “false alarm.” What’s concerning is that we experienced similar “false alarms” three times this week across different Premier Inns, all between 7:00 and 7:50am.
Not sure what to make of that, but it does make you wonder.
Really not great at all. The rooms are filthy and tired. The carpets are absolutely disgusting, they clearly haven't had a good hoover in years. The receptionist Wendy was the most frustrating receptionist. It was like pulling teeth trying to check in. The rooms are boiling even with the Aircon off and the Aircon started making weird noises at 3am. Honestly just a crap hotel, wouldn't stay again, no where near normal premier inn standards!
