  Standard prem inn, but no air con! There's a bar of sorts, but you can't eat snacks from the vending machine in the bar with your drink. PI losing the plot?

  the room stank of the kitchen, the sink plug hole is disgusting there was rubbish under the bed ,room was far to warm to get a decent sleep. room 108 it is right above the kitchen

  What a let down. Having stayed at loads of Premier Inns, ive never had one this bad. The first nights room was next to a door, which slammed closed throughout the night, so I had a disturbance night and early morning sleep. The second nights room was so noisy with the window shut, that we thought it was still open, and the TV signal was so poor, we could not watch the programmes. At least the on-site team were nice. I would not be looking to stay here again.

  The rooms are fine. They have no A/C though. It was sweltering in the room despite the hallway and outside being not that warm and you could only open the window a tiny little but which virtually made no difference. Also if you have an even room number your window will be facing the car park and the flood lights will be shining directly into you room meaning you will want to close them to not have the room lit up. That doesn’t help airflow either. Service is so-so. While the staff were nice, they man the front desk and the “bar” at the same time. I had to wait 10 minutes at the bar for someone to come back to serve me. Would only stay again in the depths of winter because I imagine it will only be 20 degrees rather than 26 in the rooms during that time. Lastly having had a room below the 40s we had to walk what felt like an eternity all the way to the other end of the building through those narrow corridors. Made going back and forth with our luggage a bit of a pain.

  The hotel is well positioned for accessibility to, and from, Whitstable and the larger area of Thanet and the Kent coastline. There is a good sized car park, with disabled parking near the entrance. Turning right on exit can be difficult, depending on the time of day, but if you turn left you will come to a turn into a shopping area where you you can turn round on a light controlled junction. There is also a bus stop close to the hotel where you can catch buses into Whitstable. The staff we met were all pleasant and helpful even when under pressure, such as at breakfast, and understaffed. The breakfast itself was standard Premier Inn fare. It looks like there was, at one time, a separate bar/restaurant but it is now all in-house with limited options and space. The room was an accessible room and, personally, I found the bed saggy and uncomfortable and, being a low height double bed. (not Kingsize or Large double as is usual in accessable rooms) , this made it more difficult to get up from. There is central heating but no Air-conditioning in the rooms but decent fans were available to help alleviate the heat. The room itself was a good size, clean and well appointed with a good amount of clothes hangars and hanging space
