  Laura is Amazing!! Our original booking was at another hotel further up the road. Unfortunately, due to a power outage, they had to cancel our reservation and directed us to this hotel instead. When we arrived, Laura explained that the other hotel had not actually made a reservation on our behalf. On top of that, the hotel was incredibly busy with an influx of guests from the same property, and no rooms were immediately available. Despite working on her own under immense pressure, Laura remained calm, professional, and genuinely determined to help. She told us, "Give me 20 minutes, and I'll make this happen" and she absolutely did. Within 20 minutes, she had arranged a fantastic room for us and turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a great experience. Laura's customer service was outstanding. She went above and beyond, remained friendly and reassuring throughout, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. She is a real credit to the hotel, and because of the exceptional service she provided, we would happily book this hotel again. Thank you, Laura, for making a difficult situation so easy and for delivering such outstanding hospitality.

  I often stay here for work. The staff are always accommodating of small requests and have good humor. Cheryl on breakfasts works her socks off and does a stellar job serving and cooking for all. Rooms could do with a little spruce or a drop in price but all safe and clean.

  I had a very pleasant stay here. While the hotel facilities and the room are on the older side, everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained. The absolute highlight of my stay was Laura at the reception. She was super friendly and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Great value for money if you appreciate cleanliness and amazing service over modern luxury
