We are staying in Margate to watch a concert at Dreamland.
Position is superb ,3 minute walk.
Room is spacious and clean.
Price is good value.
Breakfast is optional and ,good value, if we go for it.
Thoroughly recommend.
PS Don't bother checking in on line.
Makes no difference

Just arrived home from a 2 night stay with my disabled daughter. The first trip to our room had Magda carrying my daughters wheelchair up the stairs. My fault for not booking an accessible room. I then left downstairs in room in reception. Room had all we needed, plughole in sink was full of hair but otherwise clean enough. I wish to thank the staff, particularly ian for his help despite being rushed off his feet. Would come back
The hotel is like any other Premiere inn. Perfect for the price. Air conditioned clean rooms with parking plentiful it seems (£3 a day)
My only reservation is Margate which is not my sort of place. Obviously an acquired taste. If you like the smell of weed and rubbish flying in the air, streets that are never washed down and a general air of a very badly run town. What a shame because the hotel is perfectly situated by the station (I had some train noise which didn’t bother me ).
Hotel has a small restaurant which I didn’t use but the food looked good enough.
If you like Margate (and I don’t) this is the place to stay.

Avoid this hotel! Disastrous soundproofing & Unacceptable staff attitude
I stayed in Room 101 and it was an absolute nightmare. The building structure and soundproofing are incredibly poor. From late night(10:44 PM) until early morning (6:42 AM and 8:02 AM), there was severe, constant, and heavy thumping noise from directly above.
When I complained to reception, the staff member completely dismissed my distress with a highly unprofessional excuse. She/He blamed it on a "child playing upstairs" and casually told me, "We cannot stop a child being a child."
This is not only an insult to a paying guest but also deeply offensive. They are actively using children as a scapegoat to cover up their hotel’s own cheap, aging building structure and nonexistent insulation. A child cannot generate a high-frequency, perfectly timed thumping noise for 15 minutes straight—this is a severe facility defect!
I strongly advise ALL parents traveling with children to AVOID this hotel. If you stay here, the staff will gladly weaponize your children’s presence to dismiss other guests' valid complaints, creating unnecessary hostility. They discriminate against families by using kids as their ultimate shield against accountability.
To make matters worse, I filed a formal complaint under their "Good Night Guarantee" (Case Ref: WHB-3155130-F6P9). It has been 10 days, and they have completely ignored my emails, violating their own 5-day response promise. Completely dishonest, unprofessional, and hostile. Save your £178 and stay elsewhere!

Clean double room, recently renovated. Only downside was it was in the block behind the main part of the hotel, so a not so nice view of the car park and bins. Car Park was fine for me as I had early check in, but it looked full up later in the day, which would worry me if I had to drive anywhere. Parking also costs £3 per night for guests, which isn't much, but I think it should be free for guests. On arrival, I paid for parking at the machine (was simple enough) and went through to reception, where I couldn't use the self-check in, because I was checking in early, but a guy behind the bar immediately came to our aid and did it all for us. Went to try and open the door to the building and couldn't see where to scan our card (we are stupid), but a cleaner then came to my aid and showed us (after which it was really obvious and I felt foolish). :D After that was plain sailing, and we had a good stay. Didn't try the food, due to reading iffy reviews about the restaurant, but the room was everything we needed and I can't complain about that. Could be a little more generous with towels though (had only one bath towel and one small for 2 adults). Located right next to the station, so convenient for some. One huge downside is it's also next to something we nicknamed 'The Crack Tower', which looks dilapidated, dangerous, abandoned and ugly. Incredibly people still live in it. FIVE stars for the room and helpful staff though. Thank you. :)
