  We have stayed here multiple times, the rooms are standard for premier inn, nice size, clean etc the only flaw and why I only gave the room 3* is the lack of air conditioning unless you pay for a premium room. The staff are always amazing and very accommodating and will always try their hardest to help you within there capabilities. The food is amazing we always have breakfast every time we stay but this time we had some late dinner as well and it was so good, well cooked, great taste and again the waiter Matt and chef Stacey were friendly and accommodating. All round a good experience whenever we visit just a shame the lack of air conditioning unless let’s this place down a bit.

  Rooms were not really okay... problem was there was pink mould on the shower chair. Warning for wheelchair users, the accessible rooms don't get cleaned much. So much for Premier Plus... Dirty pillows also. Other than that it was fine, the lighting was lovely and the blackout curtains were perfect. Service was in most parts excellent. Unfortunately no chef for Sunday dinner and Monday's breakfast, but that's out of their hands. Cooked and cold breakfast both absolutely delicious. Whoever was on Sunday's night shift (23rd) deserves a raise. Dealt with my issues like a real gentleman and stopped to have a chat also while I waited outside for takeout. That sort of service needs to be recognised. Location was perfect of course.

  Bad customer service, rude staff! Receptionists , cleaners, everyone just outright rude and felt really uncomfortable. I get a bit of racist vibes too! Wouldn't recommend it even if your life depended on it! The pillows are very hard and gave me neck ache! Expensive for nothing service. I paid for two nights and they kept disturbing my sleep saying I paid for one and in a very rude tone! Disgusting service I rate it -100/10!

  A lot of what I am going to say will echo the other reviews. As you pull in, the Beefeater building is well and truly closed, boarded up, scaffolding all over and fenced off, which looks grim in terms of a first impression. The hotel is at the back so just keep driving round. Room temp was 28 degrees and no air conditioning, you do have a fan in the room but its quite surprising that you can't properly control the room temperature. The lady on the front desk was very abrupt, she wasn't rude but I certainly did not leave feeling like a valued customer, almost like it was a bit of a pain to check us in. We asked if there was food in the evening, my brother was going to meet us with his girlfriend and we were told the restaurant was only for guests of the hotel, I was so surprised you would turn away addition revenue, so we went to a pub up the road. It's the first time I've ever stayed in a Premier Inn where no-guests couldn't come in for a drink or food but maybe it's a policy change or the food is so brilliant there isn't enough room for external visitors. Breakfast was all just a bit sad to look at. I will say the chef did a brilliant job because the lady who should have been running the front of house bit turned up for work late so the chef was doing the cooking, checking people against the list and clearing the tables until the lady turned up, which may explain why breakfast didn't look too good, certainly not worth £11 per person. The food all just looked cheap, there were a couple of fried eggs, a couple of hash browns, the beans looked very cheap, there was only 1x yoghurt out, etc (you get the idea). You also have to say when you check in what time you'll be coming down for breakfast, my previous stays at the Premier Inn you didn't need to do this. I guess it's because the dining area is tiny, so does this mean it's not a suitable size? Overall, it depends on what you're looking for, for me the bed was comfortable, it's ensuite, there is plenty of parking and that's about it. The service at reception was not good, the room was boiling hot, breakfast was poor and like I've already said, I didn't feel like a valued customer and I expected better for over £100 a night. I have family I visit in the area and I will stay elsewhere in the future.
