  We booked evening meal for a family of 5 service was great . Food was terrible . Kids bolognaise over cooked and dry around the outside . Chicken skewers dry and very overcooked to hard to eat. Lettuce was brown . Spoke to lady when paying bill and said we were not happy with the food . She replied ok. Nothing else said . Room very nice We’ve stayed here before. We will never book meals again

  I have stayed in this hotel previously and only ate in the restaurant on 1 occasion and found the service inadequate really. I am back in same hotel this week purely on business and booked through work I have no say where we stay. 3 nights I have eaten in the restaurant and as before the staff and chef are inadequate and don't give a vibe that they want to be here. Every night I ordered food I end up waiting an hour or more for my food only to find they have either brought the wrong food or just decided to cook what the chef wants. Its disgusting and I dont get why a basic low level hotel needs to tey serve semi posh food with a chef or someone who is a cook really produces the rubbish food that he does. The manager doesn't care either I have complained twice and nothing is done about it. My advice steer clear of food in this place as the cook is useless as are the staff apart from 1 young lady possibly called Olivia she does amazing work when the others let her down. The room was tidy but the cleaner failed to clean the bathroom area 1st thing I see in the bathroom is a toilet full of someone else urine a basic clean of a bathroom would be good. Again disgusting this needs sorting out my work will be finding out about this and see what they do then as we have lots of employees in the company they put into this specific hotel I know few more colleagues have complained already.

  Had a good stay for 2 nights, reasonably priced and the breakfast was nice. The staff are friendly, helpful and proactive. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was that the bath was draining very slowly, however the maintenance man got it sorted quickly. I would definitely recommend it.

  We booked this hotel online and paid extra for early check in (11:00am) as we had a wedding to attend in the area. We arrived at bang on 11:00am, we went in to check in. We were greeted by a fairly blunt member of staff who said they didn't imagine our room would be ready yet. I politely said that I had paid extra for an early check in as we had a wedding to get ready for and after 3 hours travel with 2 young children (7&3) we could really do with getting into our room so they have time to chill before we head out. The lady said that they offer early check in on the website but it doesn't mean it always happens. The lady went off to check and came back and said that luckily our room was ready on this occasion. Although it worked out well in the end it would make me dubious about booking with premier inn again in the future as they are clearly happy to charge for extras that they are not too bothered about honouring. In the end we did have a nice stay in an air conditioned room but the initial greeting was a little off putting.

  Mooi en schoon hotel in een mooie omgeving. Op loopafstand van de stad en station. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en staat altijd klaar om te helpen. Kamers erg schoon en netjes. Alleen is de kamer best vochtig door de airco en gebrek aan ventilatie. Hierdoor is beddengoed en kleding vochtig. Eten in de avond is lastig omdat er te weinig personeel is. Hier kunnen ze zelf niks aan doen en het personeel blijft er rustig en vriendelijk onder. Al met al een perfect hotel voor een kort verblijf. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Beautiful and clean hotel in a lovely setting. Within walking distance of the city and the station. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are very clean and tidy. However, the room is quite humid due to the air conditioning and lack of ventilation. As a result, bedding and clothing are damp. Eating in the evening is difficult because there is insufficient staff. They cannot help this themselves, and the staff remains calm and friendly about it. All in all, a perfect hotel for a short stay.
