  Terrific location. Great view of the harbor. Clean room, comfortable bed. With the heatwave, we wished we had booked a hotel with air conditioning. They did provide a fan, which helped a lot. Make sure you have a record of what kind of breakfast you paid for: Continental only or the full buffet with cooked items. There was a question with our reservation and I was glad I had the proof.

  Chambre 121, 1er étage, tres tres grande chambre. Comme précisé l'hôtel ne dispose pas de climatisation, ils mettent a disposition dans la chambre des ventilateurs de bonne efficacité. Cependant, la poussières sur les rainures de celui-ci laisse entièrement a désirer. La moquette était mouillé sur le sol près de l'entrée ce qui était tres désagréable. Petit déjeuner convenable mais pas exceptionnel. Ce n'est pas un hôtel que nous reviendrons dans notre liste. Mention spécial pour le restaurant de l'hôtel avec prix abordable et menu tres bonnet varié.

  Avoid !! Absolutely awful experience have stayed her a few times in the past when catching the ferry, however that was my last. The place is very run down, grubby smells. My little girl had a shower and came out smelling like sewage ir rotten eggs. I went dwn to the reception area to tell him he immediately changed our room so cant complain about the staff member. I told him the place had really gone down hill his response was yh tell me about it. Food was an awful experience we waited 1.5 hours for our meal we kept asking how much longer etc only to be told mi or issue in the kitchen. Food finally came out it was definitely not worth the wait. I did however complain and only had to pay for the drinks. Breakfast was equally as bad maybe worse totally inedible. We witnessed staff constantly moaning about other staff and generally seemed very unhappy in their job roles which was noticeable throughout the hotel and restaurant. One waitress even walked out part way through serving. The decor in the restaurant is disgusting food stains up the walls seating areas are dirty. I just dont understand how these chains can be left to rot like this one has. Perfect location for catching your ferry but definitely worth travelling a little bit further to avoid this filth Pitt

  Perfect location for early morning ferry. Car parking plentiful and only £5. Check in was via a machine which was fine but it didn’t activate the room key properly so after walking up 3 flights (lift broken) had to go back down and find a real person. Room was adequate, clean. Lots of road noise but all in all for price great.
