  Walked in a noticed no one on the desk everything was automatic, we struggled booking in, staff were in the restaurant which was dead while us and another family were struggling with the automated book ins. We finally got it to work, the other couple were still struggling and we were unable to help them. We then left the hotel and when we came back we noticed another person using a machine which we had no idea was even there, this was the car park machine where you have to pay for parking, we thought it was included in the booking and didnt notice this as it was not sign posted or anything saying pay for parking here, luckily they pointed it out and we could adjust the time to when we think we arrived. Again no staff to say anything too! We were only there one night, we had kids screaming outside late at night so limited sleep, the window was shut (not hotels fault but was another guest at the hotel and you would think staff would say something as was outside the doors) The next day we went down to breakfast, other guests were already complaining to staff as they had already been waiting 30 minutes for food and drinks to come out. Literally everything was empty, no juice, milk, bowls, plates, only things out were eggs and black pudding. We waited over 20 minutes for our breakfast, others were waiting alot longer than us. One member of staff was running around like a headless chicken, I didnt see another member of staff for over 20 minutes. Not what you would expect from a premier inn and will not be staying there again, no one to ask how our stay was on checking out. No email address to write to, could only leave a review and not one that I wanted to write

  John @ reception has been particularly helpful iver multiple visits this summer as I have used the hotel As a base for swim camps and English Channel Crossings - he has been hugely helpful. Great location & especially lovely if you can get a sea view.

  Guy on the reception desk was excellent,some of our friends staying there couldn’t manage to work the heating control panel because they didn’t light up.Room was very clean,don’t understand why there is a need to rent parking spaces to people not staying at the hotel which is very busy

  Restaurant was dire. Parking and location is perfect. Room was nice but damage to floor and self service checkin was not the best.

  Wir haben vor der Fährüberfahrt wieder hier übernachtet. Dieses Mal waren unsere Eindrücke gemischt. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war gemütlich und sauber. Aber es war viel zu warm darin. Der Ventilator lief die ganze Nacht durch. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Aber das Restaurant ist leider gar nichts mehr. Das Essen war lauwarm und nicht besonders lecker. Der einzige Lichtblick war ein junger Mann von der Bedienung. Er war flott und freundlich. Den Namen wissen wir nicht, nur das er etwas Deutsch konnte. Das Frühstück heute war auch nichts. Es hatte ewig gedauert, bis das Buffet aufgefüllt wurde und wir uns etwas holen konnten. Es war auch nicht besonders warm. Dafür ist der Preis eindeutig zu hoch. Und das nun auch Parkgebühren verlangt werden ist auch nicht gut.
