  Came over for the Mini car show weekend. Close to the event venue, supermarkets nearby. No parking issues. Phone signal not good but free WiFi available. All good

  Self booking in is a minefield when its not a personal booking, carpark a bit tight. But free parking a bonus.

  Fine, but not great. Car parking is plentiful and the location is good if you plan on driving everywhere, which we did. Staff members were generally smiley and pleasant. Bed very comfortable. We stayed in a Premier Plus room which was tired with lots of stains on the carpet and grubby marks on the walls. There was also an electrical box hanging down from the curtain rail (not dangerous but it wasn't a great look!). We only had towels for one person so had to go down and ask for more after unpacking. The room was stuffy upon arrival and the air con took a good while to sort this out. The mini fridge is small but needed with a baby for bottles etc and did the job. The worst thing was that we requested a room clean on our first morning for the following day, and this was arranged by the staff member on the front desk. Upon returning to the hotel after a day out the next day, we were very dissapointed to find the room had in fact not been cleaned at all. We did complain to the staff member on reception who apologised and gave us fresh towels, but we were still left with a room that hadn't been cleaned and bins that hadn't been emptied. Not great when you have a 6 month old! We don't think we would stay again unless it was significantly cheaper than anything else available in the area.
