  I stayed there on the coolest of the heatwave days and the room was unbearably hot - not fit for an animal. I stripped to my waist and sat there sweating. There were two fans in the room that simply moved the hot air around. One fan only was effective in cooling one side of my body close up, whilst the other side sweated. The window was limited in how far it could open and didn't allow the room to cool. Had I been able to book into another hotel I would not have stayed. Layed in a cold bath for 45 minutes to cool down. Terrible night's sleep. The walls acted like storage heaters. It was an oven! No aircon, no stay! Forget this hotel. Aircon should be standard.

  We stayed at this hotel for our trip down to wembley stadium for Harry Styles. The rooms were warm as no air conditioning but fans kept them as cool as they could and the reception was lovely and cool as well as the restaurant. Our experience however wasn’t 5* because of this the lovely reception Caroline went above and beyond for us offering waters and a lovely chat. Honestly we will come back but purely because of Caroline what a wonderful lady so positive and friendly something you don’t always find. Amazing!!!!

  Me and my boyfriend stayed here for Harry Styles at Wembley on 26.06. The hotel was really nice and the man on the desk at check in 3pm was really nice and helpful. The location is good enough to get to wembley for the price and the man on the desk advised us the best tube station. Also if you’re staying in this heatwave or even if you just want air con, make sure you book a plus room as our room was lovely and cool in this 36° heat!

  I booked to come down on weds 24th and thus 25th of June and unfortunately I couldnt get down due to living in Lancaster and no trains running unfortunately due to heat and signal failure so I had to call reception to get a refund and yesterday weds 23rd after hours of calling and emailed even the headoffice called why I was on the phone and none of us could get though I spoken to a lovely lady today thus 25th of June her name was jodie and she promised me she will do everything she can to get my money back for me due to no fault of my own why I couldn't get down she was very understanding and aplogizing about this issue and said she will spoke to her manager and the head office and get back to me with an income and she stuck to her word and called me back within a few hours and she managed to get me a full refund to be issued within 1 week many thanks she is a star and needs to be recognised for what she does for her customs she definitely goes beyond helping even your head office kept pushing me back and forewards and had no idea what they was doing or going to do going forward Ive only giving a 5 star because of jodie as trust me it would of been a 1 star due to lack of staff not picking up the phone or email on there evening shift jodie even said this phone this morning that she can that ive emailed you

  We have not even finished our stay but I feel compelled to write the review. The rooms have no air conditioning so even on a mildly warm day the temperature is unbearable. Rooms are already prepared with 3 fans in the room on arrival. Unfortunately they only assist in blowing hot air around the room and intimately adding to the heat to the room. I requested an alternative room, hoping for a room at the back that had not had the sun shining on it all day , to no avail. The only option was for a jug is ice to aid the fan blowing cooler air. Caroline on reception was very helpful offering a breakfast as an apology. However the experience falls well below the expected service I expect and certainly doesn’t deliver a good nights sleep. I will never stay in this hotel again and quite frankly the response to previous reviews mentioning similar issues falls flat that complaints are taken seriously. Avoid !! This hotel needs a major upgrade.
