Staff are great, but this hotel has no air con and albeit I know I have no air con at home, putting people on the top floor of this building which seems to absorb heat is not safe. My home would not have been that warm. My sleep was extremely poor and I had cold showers every 2 hours to try and cool down. I had two fans in my room which did not counteract the heat. The temperature in the room at 11pm sat at 32 degrees. I'll opt for somewhere else to stay in the summer.

My family and I stayed here for one night for a gig at Wembley. The location is excellent—very convenient if you’re driving, and it’s also perfectly situated near the train station.
While the property has a good layout, it is beginning to show its age. The hotel would benefit from some maintenance and cosmetic updates, particularly regarding the carpets (Dirty) and stair trims (Loose). The room was a generous size, which I appreciated, but the AirCon was unfortunately ineffective; despite the provided fans, the room remained uncomfortably warm (around 30°C), which made it difficult to sleep. The bathroom also felt a bit dated and had some issues with the flushing mechanism.
It served its purpose for a quick overnight stop, but with some investment in modernsation and maintenance, it could be a much better experience

Stayed on the evening of the 27th, (the cooler/last day of the recent heatwave) and the room was 34.5°c degrees, despite three fans running from check in (perhaps sooner?) and the window being open (as much as it can be open). It was around 24°c outside. It felt unbearable.
A number of fire doors were also propped open, which was also concerning.
The staff are doing their best and were apologetic, but with heatwaves in summer becoming a lot more frequent, you must find a better way to cool down your rooms. Especially if people are paying over £150+ for one night.

Stayed at Premier Inn Watford Central (26–27 June). Staff are clearly trying their best during the extreme heat, which I appreciate, but I was very concerned to see fire doors repeatedly wedged open across multiple floors throughout our stay.
I personally closed them several times, and even after raising it with staff, the issue continued, including doors near reception.
Fire doors are a critical safety measure and should never be propped open. This felt like a serious and avoidable risk.
We’ve stayed at many Premier Inns and usually have great experiences, but this needs urgent attention.

I stayed for one night on June 26, 2026. The conditions at the hotel were terrible. It was 28°C outside and 32°C inside it was impossible to breathe. We had two fans, but they couldn’t cope with the heat.
We weren’t told that the hotel had no air conditioning during this heatwave. I never imagined a hotel wouldn’t have air conditioning.
There wasn’t even a refrigerator to keep a bottle of water cold. I never thought places like this still existed.
I been paid 79£ for zero condition, the price was exorbitant zero condition
Very disappointing.
