Cant knock the hotel ,great location and plenty of parking. Quick check in. Nice room. Attatched restaurant closed though and nearly all of the draught lagers unavailable. Also had to hunt for a member of staff to serve me. Had breakfast 2nd day. It was barley warm, soggy hash browns solid fried eggs bacon like leather with a strange taste. No black pudding, poor continental selction. Would use the hotel again but not the restaurant.

The room was exactly as requested and staff were helpful and friendly. The decision by whitbread to close the Beefeater next door was a great disappointment but otherwise well located

Everything brand new and nice staff and assistant manager. Beefeater has closed but there is still a need to allow wedding, birthday and other groups eat together and allow the bride to eat with her guests returning home.
