  I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The place’s beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. What made my stay truly special, however, was the kindness and thoughtfulness of the host. On my birthday, I was surprised with such a lovely and personal gesture — a delicious drink, british tea, chocolates, biscuits and a heartfelt message written especially for me. It genuinely warmed my heart and made my birthday, and my entire stay, so much more memorable. It is these thoughtful “little” details that turn a great stay into an unforgettable one. I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and I will remember this experience very fondly. Thank you - Isaac and The Lovely Team - so much for your wonderful hospitality and for making my stay so special. I would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a truly caring host.

  Perfectly located with a Council car park opposite (free overnight). Lovely staff, friendly and accommodating; dropped an iron and ironing board up to our room. The rooms were what you expect at a Premier Inn. Room smelt like cigarette smoke upon check-in but staff had made an effort to freshen the place up with a fan and ozone machine. The bathroom floor felt a little sticky, it may be the type of cleaning products they use.

  Where do I even begin? Let me put it this way Stacey is a fantastic person and a true star in every sense. She embodies everything wonderful about hospitality and customer service, and from the moment I arrived she made me feel so genuinely welcome. Stacey is such a warm, fun person who instantly lifts your mood she really does make everyone happy! She went above and beyond to help me when I was struggling with the check-in board, guiding me patiently and with such kindness. Her face-to-face manner is absolutely fantastic she even took the time to ask how my day was, which meant so much. I’ve stayed at many Premier Inn locations, and I’ve never experienced service like this before. Stacey, thank you you truly made my day and my whole stay so much better. I’m also so grateful for your wonderful recommendations during my visit they were perfect! If you’re lucky enough to be welcomed by Stacey, you know you’re in great hands. She’s a credit to the team thank you again for everything

  I want to say, the staff have been exceptional with my family in looking after us while our house was getting sorted, really made the effort with my little girl, she loved the chats with Nathan and Stacey(aka top hat lady 🤣 )over harry potter and the free chocolate! Also a massive shout out to Claire who went out of her way,above and beyond for my little girl with leaving gifts,and also the breakfast chats!will definitely stay again,thankyou everyone!

  Stayed here for the weekend for 3 days. There could be some choices nearby, but this one is absolutely the best where you can stay in Hitchin. The double bed room is spacious, and the bathroom is clean and big. The staff is friendly and helped me in the check-in process thoroughly. Checkout is simple and convenient. Just a min walk with M&S food nearby. With another comfortable 7min walk, you can find Waitrose or Sainsbury. Portmill Surgery (clinics) is right around the corner. It’s closed to high street of Hitchin (3 min walk). You can find everything you need nearby. I have a comfortable stay here and I could sleep well at night, it’s quiet and bed is comfortable (I didn’t sleep well normally. Highly recommended.
