  My daughter and I recently stayed at Premier Inn Stevenage North while my husband was being treated at Lister Hospital. We are from Leeds, and my husband had been taken ill at Royston Train Station while working in Cambridge. As soon as the reception staff, Tara and Jackie, realised our situation, they immediately moved us to a ground floor room to make things easier for us when travelling back and forth to the hospital. Jackie also shared her own family experiences and truly understood what we were going through. Both ladies gave us compassion, support and hope during what felt like complete turmoil. Our angel of the week was Sharon (“Shaza”), who supported us late at night when we returned exhausted from the hospital. She provided food, drinks, kindness, and even a shoulder to cry on. She showed such empathy and compassion and helped us begin to come to terms with everything that was happening. Being away from home, family and friends was incredibly difficult, but Sharon made us feel like family ourselves. When my mother-in-law arrived later in the week, Sharon showed her exactly the same warmth and care. I honestly do not know how we can thank her enough. We also want to mention Kian, the blonde lady on the bar, the lovely lady who cleaned our room and changed our beds, and Tara’s daughter (apologies that I cannot remember your names). Every single one of you went above and beyond to help us at this traumatic time through your friendliness, kindness and support. You are all absolute angels 😇 Kevin is now home from hospital and his recovery is going well. Still a long road ahead but little wins everyday. Best wishes to everyone 🥰

  Absolute fantastic man rooms were exceptionally clean and staff were extremely helpful upon my check-in. On my way to breakfast. I was greeted by the manager Tara who was exceptionally friendly and helpful and pleasant upon getting into breakfast. I was greeted by Jax Who could not have been more hospitable nothing was a problem and extreme care detail in regards to everything was made. Thank you for the excellent service. A brilliant nice day.

  Premier inn is my preferred overnight stay comfortably guaranteed and food was excellent with good service and value for money with £26.99 meal deal

  Staff are excellent without exception.. loaned us a charger without any quibble.. nomatter how the rooms are the staff at any hotel make rhe absolute difference and the staff here are superb ... great location.. great sleep.. fabulous time... is our first choice every time coming to Stevenage to visit grandbabies... have tried other hotels in Stevenage over the years... have sadly been very disappointed... Premier Inn next to Lister Hosp wins every time ... Thank You

  Overall what you expect from a premier inn. Clean, friendly, great food, comfy bed. If im knit picking the carpets needed replacing, and in a room of 4 people there should be 4 cups. There was no aircon at this one but we were offered thinner sheets and there was a fan in the room. The memory foam matresses not brilliant if you're having a hot flush and as with all premier inns the paper thin toilet tissues are frankly discrimination against those with periods. As someone who can't have gluten or dairy, Jaqui in the restaurant understood brilliantly, gave me all the allergy information, provided clean cutlery, wiped down our table and offered dairy alternatives for my coffee. Everything was cooked separately and was delicious. Its rare when travelling that my allergies are taken seriously but here it was very professional and I felt safe. Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Thank you!
