  We use Premier Inns a lot for short breaks. This one is one the seafront at Southsea and is an easyish walk into Old Portsmouth and the attractions. The hotel itself is in desperate need of some TLC. Our room had a creaky floorboard and the toilet seat had been replaced - badly. The room overhead had a heavy footed walker whose bedtime was well past midnight and was a real intrusion. The staff did not seem interested in this. The restaurant is a basic cheap fill em up place. But the food was plentifull and on the whole warm. Some staff were great but the general feeling was that all the staff are under pressure.

  Not as good as previous visits. Bed very uncomfortable heating in room not very good and wifi very hit + miss

  Stayed here with my sister and daughter for three nights all in a family room as my daughter is a valuable adult the rooms were lovely and so clean the staff were brilliant nothing was to much trouble all really friendly and kind didn't want to leave would definitely stay here again brewery's fare restaurant which is in same building was great place to go down for breakfast and have a evening meal and sit out the front looking at the sea totally enjoyed our stay thankyou to u all will be seeing u again

  Clean, tidy and comfy rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal situation for the hovercraft, buses, walks and the sea
