  Great stay here at the weekend brilliant location . Charrissa on reception gave us a lovely warm jolly welcome 😁 Had some water issues which can not always be helped however it was dealt with by charrissa in a apologetic professional way Overall a great stay. food fantastic next door at the beefeater .

  Room was possibly the smallest twin room and furthest from reception on the first floor,I certainly got my steps in but very little sleep, the extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t working and no maintenance on site as they don’t work on weekends. The ground floor always stinks of someone smoking weed. Staff mostly cheerful. Hotel is very clean.

  A friend and I stayed here last month to be close to the hospital and enjoyed it. Although we got there just as the restaurant next door was closing and were not happy about no food for the evening, this was not their fault at all. (Get there before 9 pm!). The hotel was well lit, the reception desk was efficient, friendly and the room was basic, but was clean, and had coffee, tea, a kettle, a hairdryer and complimentary shampoo and body wash. Breakfast next morning was basic, fruit, cereals, croissants and cost a little more than I wanted to pay but we were a captive audience! Only downside, I wasted £2 on the vending machine in the reception area that stole my money and gave me nothing. This happens on at least 50% of ALL vending machines in my experience (I forgot my own promise to myself to never use them!) and the receptionist could do nothing about it as the machine doesn't belong to Premier Inn. Overall, a good stay and I'd stay there again if I were in Basingstoke.

  Stayed at Premier Inn and had a good overall experience. The check-in was quick and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was especially cosy—I had a really good night’s sleep. Everything you’d expect was there, including tea and coffee facilities and a clean, spacious bathroom. The location was average (3⭐) as there wasn’t much nearby in terms of shops or things to do, which was a bit of a downside. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options and everything fresh and well stocked. Overall, a comfortable and reliable stay. Would stay again 👍
