  Budget hotel sums it up. Very tired and in places grubby. Room floor felt tacky. Sink in bathroom minute. Bed comfortable. Restaurant very compact for the amount of people that stay there. Food not very hot and whole food area cramped. Lady that worked there was very helpful.

  The service was good, and the location was reasonably convenient, but the room itself was disappointing and could do with significant improvement. While the staff provided good service, the overall standard of the accommodation didn’t quite meet expectations. The location was decent, although not ideal. Overall, an average stay with good service as the main positive, but the room quality definitely needs attention.

  Disappointed with the first time from Premier Inn. I have stayed in them up and down the UK and never had to clean the bathroom. The room had new sheets and a bit of a hoover, but needed more. My bedside table had rings marks from a cup and not cleaned. The skirting boards needed cleaning all dirty. The bath had water stains where the bath hadn't been cleaned as well as sink and toilet. Shower head not shiny water marks, fingerprints.

  Had a great stay at Premier Inn West Southampton. The hotel was lovely and clean throughout, with a great big car park and plenty of spaces available. The reception area was clean and welcoming, and the staff on the desk were really friendly and happy to have a good conversation, which always makes a difference. The room was clean and well presented, and the highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. I stay away with Premier Inn around twice a week, so I've had my fair share of their breakfasts, and this was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. I stayed here years ago, when breakfast was served in the attached pub, and I remember it being a pretty disappointing experience. Moving breakfast into the Premier Inn itself seems to have made a huge difference, and the improvement is clear. All in all, a really positive experience. Great staff, clean facilities, plenty of parking and an excellent breakfast. Five stars from me, and I'd happily stay here again.
