  The room was the usual good standard, but the staff excelled themselves, they really couldn't do enough to help. We got there on the first day of the restaurant reopening, with brand new staff who had almost zero training. They dealt with the trials of learning new systems and no stock with patience and humour. Thank you.

  One star is for the dockyard view from the room, which I paid for. The other star is for a quiet room, at the end of corridor. Staff not great. Location good. Room very dirty...floors, dust, bathroom. It all needs a deep clean and I would question whether it actually comforts to the required standards. Bed broken. I dont recommend this hotel, which is a dirty sister of its main chain. I wish I had booked elsewhere.

  Location and transportation are exceptionally good and the staffs are all very kind. The staff, Una is very much helpful and she is able to offer her assistances in many aspects. Good service from her. The breakfast is good however the cleanliness of the toilet in the room is the way behind the standard. The other aspects in the room is fairly good.

  We stayed at the Portsmouth Dockyard Premier Inn for two nights while visiting the Historic Dockyard and Spinnaker Tower, and it was absolutely ideal for us. I have limited mobility, so the location was particularly important, and this hotel couldn't have been better placed. Both attractions were very close by, and the nearby car park was only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. We also appreciated the discounted parking available during our stay. We booked a Premier Plus room with a view, and it was just perfect. The hotel was clean, bright, and very comfortable, and all the staff we met were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily choose this hotel again when visiting Portsmouth.

  Great location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Had a bad experience with the staff at check-in. Our room was not ready at 3 when we arrived with two small children after a long drive. I was told that a 3pm check in was not garenteed despite it being on the website. I asked how long it would take to get the room ready - I was told that it is hot and that could not be predicted. Finally, I asked for our room to be prioritised for cleaning - I was told that they would radio the cleaner but there is a system that needs to be followed. All this with zero empathy. We ended up only waiting 20 min and checking in at 3.40 but by that stage I was pretty annoyed. I suggest you spend some time training your staff. Sometimes, cleaning gets delayed when it is hot but their lack of customer service or empathy made the situation worse.
