  After having a reasonable journey to get to the hotel (6. 5 hours travel) we checked in via the electronic self check in. During the night the air-conditioning system started to gurgle and make noise all night long. We had travelled with an 8 year old who managed to sleep through this. The window ledge area was full of grime. On check out in the morning I mentioned that we didnt sleep very well due to the air conditioning system. The lady on reception who was nice said "we've just had all the air-conditioning units serviced" and I said I wasnt happy so I was given the customer relations number. After contacting them and sharing numerous videos of the issue they have refused to refund or offer a reduction on a future booking due to the fact we didn't drag ourselves out of the room when it happened to go to reception. As a family we have stayed at many Premier Inns around the country with no issues and the following night we stayed at the Cumberland Place in Southampton and had no issues with the air conditioning making noise. P.S your aircon filter was dirty with them "just been" serviced it isnt a filter a serviceable part? Never again at this hotel and with the poor response from Premier Inn im questioning should I try a competitor. Another greedy company that isnt interested in the customer just the money in your pocket. One disgruntled customer

  Nice room, very tired public area, especially the stairs (had to take suitcases up to second floor as lift wasn’t working, but was fixed the same day)

  Very comfortable stay, as usual. I always choose Premeir Inn. We arrived late, due to extreme traffic delays, so at 23.00hrs. A member of staff, came out to greet us, and explained we would be refunded for our meals already booked. So we were pleased.

  Food was nice and the rooms were very clean and well appointed. The stand out that made this a five star review was the staff. As far as I could see there were two ladies working across the reception and restaurant and (presumably) someone cooking food. As it was a Friday in school holidays it was pretty busy but the staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. I've been to much busier hotels where staff were too busy to give any kind of customer service but the ladies working on 31.07.26 were brilliant and an absolute credit to the company. I would suggest that there does need to be more staff working as one lady was running between the reception desk and serving customers in the bar, the customer service was great so this wasn't a problem for us but I feel that there should be more staff so the staff aren't run off their feet.

  Arrived early afternoon and found booking in easy. The reception staff on duty were very polite and helpful making the whole experience less stressful after a long day. The restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant also. The rooms are clean, light, airey and comfortable. Just as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. Well done all, a credit to the brand!
