  Standard Premier Inn rooms attached to the pub. It's about a 15 moon walk from the station and the centre of Town, so a little less convenient than others, but still a decent option if you don't mind walking.

  Staff is what makes this Premier Inn exceptional, from Keri on reception 💯, to the friendly banter in the restaurant, and housekeeping being accommodating so I could work until the last minute Great team work 👏

  The UK is a mysterious place every time I visit, but I find it very unkind to Asians. While not every region is like this, it seems that whenever I travel to different areas, I inevitably encounter racial discrimination in at least one place. Even though we booked five rooms for our three-night stay, we were assigned a room in a gloomy, secluded corner. Asian travelers should consider this carefully before making a reservation. I never want to visit a hotel again where I paid money but was not treated well.

  A very dismal experience. Having booked 3 nights in this hotel we only endured one night and received a refund or two. It is a well positioned hotel opposite an attractive park with a lot of parking. We arrived on a very cold day. Our room was on the first floor with no lifts. The heating was out of order .... awaiting a part for the boiler and the room was extremely cold. Reception gave us a portable heater that did not cope withe size of the room. Breakfast was very poor - a full English was shrivelled and inedible, porridge very watery and dry pastries - certainly not what we're used to with PI. The whole hotel was tired and uninviting with worn carpets and fading wallpaper. Not a good experience.

  Second time staying here with my family. Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Sadly, there was a burst pipe that closed the restaurant. Not their fault, staff apologised and we were refunded for pre-paid brekkies. Stroud town centre is an easy 15 min walk anyway, so plenty of eating options. We will be back when we visit Stroud again.
