  My elderly father always stays here but on his recent visit the PREMIER PLUS ROOM was dirty. The coffee machine was out of order. He complained but still he has never heard anything back. Not good enough!

  We used it as a stopover on the way south as we hadn't been to Gloucester before. Very clean and tidy but the auto check-in kiosks were problematic, one kept rebooting and the other issued key cards that didn't work on the room, the 2 staff were busy responding to these issues.

  We had a great stay at this hotel a couple of weeks ago, predominantly because of the service we had, but also the hotel's fantastic location to Gloucester Docks, where we had a family party. The lady on reception couldn't have been nicer, as I needed to borrow an iron and ironing board. However the main reason I'm writing is because of the lovely staff at breakfast. Gerard and team were just brilliant and really made our stay. We had been to a family party, so there were quite a few kids. All staff were really kind and super accommodating; kitchen staff were great with the fussy/ hungry teenagers, and we all wanted to say a big thank you for making our weekend. We really appreciated everything guys did for us. X

  All the staff bar one were brilliant. We used the meal deal twice and were happy with that. Top tip, we shared a starter and a dessert so achieved a three course meal from a two course menu.
