Hotel is fine, however the 'restaurant' environment left a lot to be desired and was at best 'ok'.

Lovely stay and ev chargers worked fine in the car park so very handy for anyone with an electric vehicle. Also went for a lovely meal at The Gurkhas at Gardeners Arms which was a short drive away and delicious Indian food
The room was fine, the standard type you get at a Premier Inn. No lift, so all luggage needs to be carried up stairs. Restaurant was unfortunately being run by one young lady all on her own which meant long waits to be seated, orders taken and served food (food was fine though). The waitress was working very hard I should add and the chap from reception occasionally popped in to assist when he could. Breakfast is help yourself type but the hot food was very dried up having been sat for ages on the hot plates. The stay overall was fine but additional staff required.

Premier Inn are upping their battle of budget hotels with Travelodge. Their plus rooms are available at some locations including Tewkesbury
I paid £57 and what a bargain. Recently refurbished room. Ultimate WiFi included. Nespresso machine and fridge. Complimentary water and chocolates. Air conditioning. Modern sockets with USB
Lots of parking and on-site dining which I didn’t take advantage of

This is the first time we have been disappointed with s Premier Inn, the room at Tewksbury was as good as any we have stayed in, apart from only having one towel in the bathroom which was sorted out by reception. The problem was the restaurant, we booked for six thirty and only got our first course at seven thirty, we saw one of our meals sat on one side in the kitchen for ten minutes while the other was being cooked , mine arrived without the curry sauce which didn’t make it before I had finished the rest of my meal .
We both had the same dessert but my wife’s was rock hard due to being left too long in the microwave, Total time for the meal two hours !
At breakfast we expected the usual buffet where we would pick what we wanted but that has changed, the waitress took our order which came on a cold plate, Not a very good advertisement for Premier and we won’t be using a restaurant in one again.
None of this was due to the staff who worked very hard, the girl was working on her own taking orders, serving drinks and apologising for the delay.
