  This is an absolute disgrace, We came in after a long day of traveling and a dance competition just wanted to put our feet back, relax, have a drink, and some nice food but unfortunately it was not that type of night. It was a disgusting experience!!! There was a total of 6 adults and 7 children which we all ordered food at 8:20pm, we did not receive our food until 10:20pm that night, that is not ok they were understaffed and had a 17 year old boy cooking all the food which is not acceptable. The chicken was pink, and we did not receive almost all of our food. The next day we had children with us and there was a pair of dirty underwear outside our door which is clear they do not clean this hotel, there was a musty smell of the hotel it was as if they had only done some ruff cleaning but not a proper one. On the top floor there was a stench of sick which is unacceptable! Then as we went to the toilet in our room there were yellow stains on our floor. It was almost 30 degrees in our room so we went to reception and asked for a fan. The staff at the reception desk pretended they didn’t have one even tho we could clearly see one on the desk so they could use it for themselves. We were at a dance competition so need to shower a lot and we ran out of towel as we didn’t bring any with us so we went to reception and asked for one, they told us no and sent us back up to our room. The bar is meant to close 11 and when we came back to the hotel we went to the bar at 10:05pm and it was closed!!! We came back so late and there was no staff at the reception so we were unable to pre pay breakfast, as a dancer we need food to fuel up but was not allowed in because we did not pre pay but we were never told that we had to. Now the day we were going home they were talking about our group of people saying that we never got out of the bar. That was not true! And many other stuff. There was also never a cleaner seen about anywhere in the hotel and our room was never touched up with soap, towels, or toilet roll! I do not recommend this hotel at all and would never go back as it was an awful experience and the staff were rude as anything!!

  We stayed at the bank holiday weekend and it seemed like a really hectic night on the Friday. Everyone remained really calm though and we were well looked after. We seen a young girl Jenna? And she was fabulous, really friendly and warm. The well dressed man on reception appeared to be having a bad night, he looked really unwell, I hope he is alright? On the Saturday it seemed like there had been a lot going on during the night but everyone was chipper and positive, they kept our wee ones very calm as they were very very nosey as to what was happening. All in all a really good stay, food was good, service was excellent and we will definitely be back.

  This PI is a good one. Lovely staff and the in house restaurant looks brand new. Very good meal and very decent breakfast. Ignore the negative reviews. Surpassed my expectations.

  Lovely wee hotel staff are very friendly. Was delighted to see a wee fox in the car park that one of the staff is able to hand feed! The restaurant is quite small so prebooking is advised!
