  The main problem was that the floors everywhere echoed footsteps or made creaking noises both in the rooms and hallways so you could constantly hear movements during the night. We were on the 1st floor

  I was in one of the relatively new Premier Inn Plus rooms. Better bathroom, bigger TV, coffee machine with a few free coffee pods, and different furniture. Very nice. The food in the restaurant is the same as any Premier Inn that I've stayed in. Well cooked and thought out. I don't usually stay at this particular site, but if I can't get into my usual places, this one is now on the reserve list.

  Dropped by for a breakfast, the breakfast here is self service. We had a full English with toast and baguettes. We were told that the restaurant will be for residents only in the coming months so better to phone first to make sure you can get in.
