  Staff cuts have made this homeless and less attractive. The reception desk is rarely staffed, and we’re told to return to the restaurant an hour later as they had only one chef on duty. Also, we requested a favourite room months in advance, confirmed the day before we travelled, only to be told on arrival it was not available. Poor management of generally friendly and helpful staff.

  Bar closes at 10pm...short staffed we were asked to go back to our seats rather than stand at the bar.

  No issues with any of the staff here. I do believe the rooms should be upgraded. I visited during the world cup 2026 and the room TV very small facing an angle. DO NOT BOOK HERE in summer and AIRCONDITIONING IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU as it only made slight sounds, it did not work! Location is good especially if you want to visit grocery stores and so on.

  Joke, arrived early to collect a couple staying in the hotel. Only to be told is have to pay to stay 20 mins in the car park waiting on them. Couldn't even go to the restaurant for a coffee as it was closed.

  The location is really good as it is very close to a nicely maintained park. Perfect for a good run... The room was well situated on the 3rd floor, however the lift sounded a bit clanky. We also had an issue with the shower tap - the water kept heating up very hot and cold water added 3 seconds later every 3 seconds, and it kept going on the whole time while we showered. We complained at the reception desk but not much changed. The breakfast was delicious as always, however at this hotel you don't serve yourself at all to full breakfast buffet style, it's got to be ordered from the waiting staff. Dinners are served till 20:30, nice variety of dishes available. Always check with the waiter what's available at the time of arrival.
