  Stayed here end of July. Hotel and its staff have severe lack of health and safety. Had to leave the room at 5am as couldn’t sleep as the hotel was so hot! And astaff member was cleaning the stairs (no lift) and the stairs were made slippery, no wet floor sign was present and the staff member didn’t even try to warn us causing my partner to slip on the stairs and injure her back. The receptionist was barley out of high school and was clearly not trained for this type of complaint. Later when I contacted the hotel I found out they didn’t even report this incident in their health and safety book meaning in their eyes it never happened. Please stay somewhere else where you health and safety are made a priority, not one member of staff would care about that here. Also the room was extremely hot and dirty, didn’t want to know that either!

  Our family in Seaford recommended the Premier at Newhaven. Our experience in other Inns in this chain have been very good. However the room we had in Newhaven was only superficially clean. It was dusty around the edges. A friend's room was clean. So it's variable. Staff polite.

  Good confortable hotel although room was not cleaned after 2 day at request. The reception staff was very halpful especially HENRIETTA, she guided us very nicely about our visit to Brighton.We were going to go in our car but she suggested parking will be diffivult and also expensive in Brighton.She suggested to take bus,just across the road.The bus journey was very scenic and definitely advisable.Buses go every half an hour or so and return bus service was very good as well.

  Vieze kamer met veel stof en spinnenwebben Vieze badkamer met beschimmelde hoekjes. Temperatuur in de kamer boven 28c, raam kan maar klein stukje open, nauwelijks ventilatie. Geen airco, wel €238 voor 1 nacht betaald. Dame van de receptie kan of mag alleen doorverwijzen naar Klantenservice, maar die neemt de telefoon niet op. Zeer slechte nacht gehad. Slechtste ervaring in UK. Afdeling guest relations reageert pas na 8 dagen en geeft geen compensatie.

  Very disappointing experience. We arrived at Premier Inn Newhaven on August 16th after an issue with our original accommodation. At reception, we were told that there were no rooms available. We therefore had to book and pay for a non-refundable room at Premier Inn Brighton. The member of staff at reception also told us that the bus to Brighton would accept our bicycles. However, when we arrived at the bus, our bicycles were refused, so we had no choice but to return to Newhaven. When we came back, we were able to book a room online at Premier Inn Newhaven, and the hotel did in fact give us a room, despite having told us a few hours earlier that there were no rooms available. As a result, we paid for a night at the Brighton hotel that we could not use, based on information provided to us by the Newhaven staff. We will contact Premier Inn to request a refund for this night and hope they will offer a suitable solution. It is particularly disappointing as we were simply trying to find accommodation after an issue with our original booking.
