A good clean room and friendly staff and a free car park.
This place is nowhere near the airport. If you book it and arrive by train, you will walk for 40 minutes - unless you book a taxi.
Reception Staff were poor no smile or interest what so ever.
Service non-existent (The Beefeater next door shut at 10:00pm, I arrived seconds after 10 and....... no service) Would expect better from a hotel that styles itself 'Premier Inn Southend Airport'.
It is quite expensive given the costs associated. The Holiday Inn, which is next to the Airport is only a few pound more. The money spent on taxis was more than the extra charge of staying at the Holiday Inn.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, First of all the rooms no longer have a fridge, so if your staying for a few days like myself, you have no where to store milk etc. They have also got rid of a desk in the room, you now have a round table and a chair. not to bad if your alone but in a family room, doesn't really work. next leads onto the shower, I've never had a shower and felt like I didn't have a shower, almost no pressure to it and the water itself didn't feel refreshing. felt like its been sitting in a tank for weeks. The room was really dusty, couldn't stop sneezing and the aircon, hardly worked, when it did you could tell it was mouldy. The main bed was not as comfy as the other times I stayed and the kids pull out was rock hard, the little one didn't like it at all. For a family room, I am really disappointed. lastly, I enquired about a late checkout before booking, I was told that I could ask on the day of checkout and if they are not busy then they can do it, on the day I was told they don't do it. Other than the bits above, the hotel is nice and quiet, Staff seemed friendly. Before I forget, the breakfast is not worth getting, it isn't great,

This is a good location, where you can park for free and it’s very close to the beach. It is handy to have a Tesco within walking distance too. The room we stayed in looked newly renovated. Everything was good. The air on worked, but did take a couple of minutes to start. The breakfast was very good in the Beefeater. Staff were really nice and helpful. Thank you
We stayed there for around a week, and overall, the experience was good. The rooms were nice, and the housekeeping team seemed to be doing a great job.
We did have an issue with a blocked toilet and initially informed the male receptionist in the reception, but unfortunately, there was no response for several hours. However, when the housekeeping staff came to clean the room, we mentioned it to her—she quickly informed her manager, and the issue was resolved promptly. They were very helpful.
Additionally, the location is quite convenient, as it’s very close to a Tesco Extra, making it easy to pick up essentials.
