  Staff pleasant, but aftercare with the customer relations team is appalling. Bed wasn't fit for sleep but doesn't come under the Good Night Guarantee because I didnt report it at 11pm at night with a vulnerable disabled child. Waking them to move them at that time would have caused disruption to the entire hotel as well as causing them anxiety, which would have resulted in no sleep either. Apparently checked the bed and it's fine. May as well have called me a liar, even though they have had a chance to rectify the issue. Emailed them again over a week ago, still no response or acknowledgement. I won't be using premier inn again as customer service is non existent.

  Straightforward Premier Inn, car park secured by electric gate is a bonus. Came here to review just because breakfast was outstanding quality- great ingredients used and first rate cooking. Only let down by average hash browns.

  The Inn is a bit old furnished and without air-conditioning. However, the location is good and easy to find, with two restaurants nearby. One is Beefeater amd the other is Coho which is really nice amd elegant with good food serving.

  Stayed for one night. Old hotel from what it looks like. Basic room. Really tiny. No AC which was tough. We’d been provided a fan which was nice but regardless it was hotter than hades in that room all night. I know that can’t be helped I this summer heatwave but with the climate changing like it is maybe the hotel chain can consider investing in heat pumps/ AC?? - but ask for an upper floor so that you can open a window at least. Shower made a banshee squeal that made you want to hurry up and get out ( maybe it was planned that way to save water )? And the exhaust fan whirrs like a Harley. Wouldn’t stay again.

  Extremely disappointing experience at Premier Inn Harlow North. I booked and paid for a Twin Room as I was travelling with my mother, but on arrival we were given a Double Room instead. After waiting around 40 minutes to check in and dealing with issues with the key machine, we finally reached our room after a long day of travelling only to find it was not the room we had booked. When we raised the issue, we were told there were no other rooms available and nothing could be done. My mother and I could not share a bed, which meant she was unable to get a proper night’s sleep. The receptionist acknowledged the mistake and provided details on how to request a refund. However, when I contacted Premier Inn afterwards with my booking confirmation, the refund was treated only as a “gesture of goodwill” and was limited to £54, despite the fact that the room I paid for was never provided. Mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled and the lack of a fair resolution was extremely disappointing. I expected much better from Premier Inn.
