  Impossible to sleep, the room is 33 degrees celcius without A/C, the bed is even hotter. This is actually dangerous, even more as the room window doesn’t open more than 2 cm due to 'security reasons', however they don’t seem to care about your security when it comes to breathing and sleeping properly. On top of that there is a humid/mouldy smell coming from the bathroom that makes this experience even worse. This hotel is really to avoid especially in summer if you want to be able to sleep.

  Everything is premier but the price… Except the lack of air con (but at least you get a tower fan, that just blows warm air), the ancient tv, and my motorbike being stolen whilst I was here. Beds are comfy, parking is £7.50 per night, and the brewers fayre is, well it is what it is. Room didn’t get cleaned during my stays here either, in hindsight maybe I had to leave the sign on the door perhaps? Shoutout to Marty in reception though for all his help whilst I was a bit stressed with my bike though. Best bet for a room is probably north side, first floor.

  If the weather is hot avoid this at all costs. There is no aircon and the windows only open 3cm, so no air circulates. The room was 32C until gone 1am so you cannot sleep, the fan they provide just blows warm air around as the window can’t open sufficiently to let the room air. It is clean and staff friendly but do not use in warm weather. They should at least advise of the lack of air con ahead of time.

  We booked this place. Travelles over 309 miles arriving 2 hours before check in time, boiling hot temperatures asked if we could check in earlier n was told room was ready however if we wanted to check in we would have to pay £15 to access the room which Ch is a total joke. The woman on reception was rude n needs a course on n customer service, will never use premier inn again

  The hotel itself was lovely, room was clean and spacious. Staff very helpful. The disappointment was with the food and service from the bar staff and servers. We were two families ( 5 people) sat at one table. One ordered a starter and a main meal and the other four ordered a main and a desert each. First the starter came out with the mains. Then they took all our dirty plates away and nothing for 45 mins. So I asked at the bar about deserts and the barman said he'd check. 25 mins later still nothing, so I asked the same barman again. He admitted he'd forgotten to ask and he'll do it straight away. 5 mins later one dessert came out. Another 10 mins later and nothing so I now went to the bar and explained the whole situation to a different barman and he got the desserts sent out a whole 2 hours and 15 mins after ordering them. And the restaurant was not even busy.
